I'm in the planning stage of two trips in Europe for next year, the second one will include the Baltic countries so I found your route very interesting. Tallin will be my last destination before catching a ferry to Helsinki and up to the Artic circle. Thank you for your suggested waypoints.

It's amazing! Yes, there are lots of camping opportunities, both paid and free. All of the Baltics are set up very well for campers with fire pits, access to wood, and some with even dry toilets!

We did ours over 2 weeks, >> www.dreambigtravelfarblog.com/blog/baltic-road-trip-lithuania-latvia-estonia But just to get direct to all the capital cities it's about 7 and a half hours direct from Vilnius, riga then Tallin, so you could do the drive in 2-3 days, but with sightseeing, I'd give yourself 3-4 days, maybe 5! :)

Helsinki is 80 km away by ferry. Helsinki is expensive
