I love your videos, you don't get enough exposure for the effort and information you are providing. I'm UK based, I know its not (really) your bag, but would you provide advice for UK citizens?

I filed a single member LLC in 2000 using a book from Nolo Press. A lawyer friend, who hadn't filed an LLC yet, looked over the forms. In Michigan, it's just a $25 annual fee. You do have to check that the name is available, before you can file. I currently have 2 LLCs, one covering my writing.

LLC term yes, but in other countries the end term can change but is the same thing. in UK (and commonwealth countries) is LTD, in Germany and related is GmbH, in Singapore is PTE LTD and so forth.

Hey Ian Corzine, i have been watching your series of videos on copyright and i have a question. I recently started a true crime channel and it heavily relies on reused material such as photos, videos like cctv footage, news coverage and police interrogation. I ultimately want my channel to get monitized and i worry that it might not because of: reused material, copyright and such. Can youtube still monetize my channel with reused material on it? are news reports ,photos of victims and police interrogation videos copyrighted? Please help. i am feeling very discouraged.

Hey Kim -- excited to hear about the channel. Yes, your channel can still be monetized BUT you should heavily away from using re-used and copyrighted content. Use Fivrr artists to create graphics for you. Use archive.org for BROLL. Make sure you execute Fair Use principles both before and after any clips you borrow. Tag me on Twitter if you have more questions.

@@tele_gram_sarah_n_tuned1 So... I get that copy paste scams are low effort, but do they really work? Can't you research for more profitable things? After all, you went through the trouble of spamming (and creating an imitation account while at it), better make it more effective. I don't mean to be a hater, but don't you feel you're wasting a potential talent that could be better used on something more profitable and fulfilling?
