    There are rubber wheels you use with a drill that will make quick work of stickers/adhesive, and it's generally safer for paint if you keep the rubber clean

    Yes, did this on my 2013 Nissan cube, made a big difference.
    The previous owner had also put 13 large reflective stickers on the rv mirrors, both bumpers, door jambs etc, took hours of tedious work to remove them.
    Looks great now.
    My lovely Nissan cube named 'oink'.:)
