The Pyro actually is the fastest plane in GTA (it is only surpassed by the speed glitch of the Hydra). About people saying it's is the best dogfighter I think is because it has a very good handling for his speed. I have the Pyro and I can't confirm this but I think is because i have lack of practice with the plane, I prefer fighting with the Starling or the B11.
The Pyro is an amazing dogfighter to take out any aircraft, especially Lazers if the pilot is skilled enough nothing turns better the agility is truly overpowered. You can circle around homing missiles pretty easily and the mini guns are effective against lazers etc but it’s only downside is it’s not great against ground targets that’s where the B11 strikeforce and Starling shine
I disagree, although it takes some practice, if you learn how to use the free aim missles on ground targets you can get people ewo-ing everytime you fly over them
Glad to see the Pyro get some love (finally!) The speed seems low because planes and jets only get to maximum airspeed at higher elevation, right above the Maze Bank Tower. The Starling’s rocket booster acceleration will beat the Pyro in short bursts but the Pyro is faster than the Rouge and the Hydra. Also, the Starling will outmaneuver the Pyro because it’s turning radius is even tighter, but the real reason the Starling is will win is because it’s absolutely tiny and damn near impossible to hit. Anyway, learn the left/right missile dodging technique with the Pyro and then go kill some oppressor griefers with it
At higher altitudes the pyro can almost if not fly faster than it’s homing middles when it shoots it. (You might have to loose some altitude while doing it I believe)

I've seen a lot of stunt videos featuring the Pyro. Likely due to it's maneuverability, hell I've even seen these things flying backwards, Often with the back broken off
My hanger was originally only my garage for my helicopters in my Hydro until they updated the payout I still really didn’t mess around with it and then when they give it a double triple with my double first time sale I have now fallen in love with the dogfight practice missions for the aircraft the only level of expertise I was missing and with all the basic missions I have fallen in love with all the good dogfighters I bought the starling got my eyes on the molotok I bought the B 11 strike force just for the hell of it and I am grinding the rest of the missions four the Pyro tonight and going to drop a 50 sale on the Narc To see how much I can get Max with a double triple double first time sale
I made a giant mistake last weekend I accidentally bought the lazer LMAOO I accidentally clicked buy I was just reading the description of the lazer I wanted to see if it took up a small spot. Then I meant to click back then I hit buy I’m so pissed lmao.

i flew this for the first time yesterday in a hanger mission. i thought it was pretty good. not sure i want another airplane. they are not very useful in my opinion. the hunter is next on my list.

Pyro is a better dedicated dogfighter and MK2 counter, but the Rouge is a great value for money plane that can do everything reasonably well. Both can easily evade MK2/Deluxo missiles because of their high top speed and strong responsive handling

When you fly at low altitude it is much slower, I’m aware that it’s one of the top 3 fastest planes in the game. What I was meaning in the video is at lower altitude the plane is slow which makes it very maneuverable

pyro isnt slow at all. Its my goto Dog fighter. The starling can be a bit much to fly imho.
