Apart from that, the commentators talked about Epke’s execution issues but Marcel and Philip had a lot of problems too with their routines especially when catching the bar after the releases. So Epke’s gold is not that surprising. Marcel had the same problems in London on high bar. He’s improved his execution a lot since then.
I don't know who the commentators are here, but they don't have a fucking clue what they're talking about. The fact that they were talking about the background music rather than the skills during Boy's routine says it all. Lesson learned: never write off Epke Zonderland! A deserved win in my eyes.
i dont think its only the germans, if you look at the mens gymnastics most of the men and coaches are very extatic after every routine that is hit very well. I think its sort of unfair to compare men with woman here.
as much as i like the german guys i did not appreciate their premature joy... valeri liukin is always telling his girls to wait until the last score flashes, no matter what, THEN celebrate. i guess the german (athletes and coaches) should take a cue!
Revenge is a dish best served cold....the german guys should bear that in mind next time they start celebrating over a gold medal they consider belongs to them.A 7.7 is tough to beat men!on the other i am a huge zonderland fan so please forgive my subjectivity here...
