The saddest part of Angel Dust's story for me is how he blames himself.
It really does suck. He probably thinks that in signing away his soul, he was indirectly agreeing to the horrible things Valentino puts him through. What makes it worse is that we can see he knows full well this treatment isn’t okay, but Valentino always makes it his fault.
That’s a way abusers hold power over the one being abused; making them feel like they’re in the wrong and like the abuser is gracious to keep them around.
It’s an immeasurably disgusting cycle, & often one that’s difficult to break out of. I really wish Charlie had let loose on Valentino.
Its sad and makes alot of sense. He really CANT blame anyone since he made this choice and now is stuck.

Well he is the one who signed his soul away to Valentino. The only question I have is if he actually willingly sold his soul or if he was under the effect of whatever that smoke is Val blows that seems to act as a drug.
Honestly I just hope that Allistor or an Angel will take Valentino out at some point

She isn't used to using whatever power she has so, when she needs to, she'll likely be inexperienced and Valentino is no thug. He's an overlord. They can take down angels. I think it's more likely she'll end up fighting Valentino or, potentially, he could use Angel to make a grab for her. He offered her a job, a deal, and she was smart enough to refuse - but when did Valentino ever accept no for an answer?
Either way, if Charlie gets hurt? Lucifer is likely to come into play. If the overlords and other demons think killing an angel is a struggle? Lucifer was the most powerful of the heavenly host, Michael the only one to match him - he would chew those ordinary soldiers up like Angel on drugs. Val wouldn't stand a chance.
It would be an interesting way to go about it. Valentino is used to having others at his mercy, and giving them none...using Lucifer to turn the tables so he's the one on the receiving end would be bittersweet justice.
I think it’s been said multiple times that Charlie could 100% make any of the overlords bleed at literally any time, she just chooses not too. I got the feeling we’re gonna see Charlie go full demon in the finale at some point, and Alastor is gonna be so happy he’s on her side. Also, Valentino could probably die.
I doubt Allistor can help, no not because he is a demon but there must be an Overlord peace pact where an overlord are not aloud to disturb other overlord work or they're might start a war

Look at the screens from 1:22 onwards. I thought the dance part was random, but it just so happens that the Angel Dust on the screen is in the same pose as the one dancing. Also, whenever he is implied to be forced to do something, his dance also reflects it. I think the whole choreography is only going on in his head. He is dissociating. At 1:36 he is seen screaming for obvious reasons, but inside his head, he is just hitting a high note. The dance is his escape, while the flashes on the screens and those rapid cuts show what is actually happening to him.
And Valentino is even there, in his dissociative episode...Poor Angel just has no salvation

For me it’s the graphic display of some parts. While it makes me uncomfortable (someone who’s a victim of SA), I know some people will get off to this, and while I know those people are messed up, I still find it uncomfortable that they added those scenes.
I don’t think they meant it to come off that way, but I do wish they played a little safer in that regard. They don’t have to entirely remove it, but make it more grotesque or stylised.
I’m not here to start a fight, I genuinely wanted to get my criticism out :)

"Wish I had smt to live for tmr" sounds like nothing helps him anymore whether its coke or drinking. yup, they must've done something right if you're feeling that. That was the goal: to get the viewers to feel sad, angry, on edge, disgusted, etc. They want them to feel bad for him and hope that's something he can get out of. I honestly feel kinda bad for the animators having to animate...those...scenes. Like, seeing a crowd favorite being abused like that in such raw detail, frame by frame, must be heart-breaking to create. HUGE props to the whole team for giving us the incredible(and catchy) slice of reality we all needed
