That is probably the ONLY room that can only generate with one doorway, making it much more likely to be the room farthest from an exit, since no corridor can generate past it. Since the Bracken drags players to the point on the map farthest from any exit, it just so happens that the Bracken drags players to that room a bit more often than other rooms
Actually, it turns out that it's impossible for a Bracken to ever drag bodies in that room. Entities will also never wander in there randomly, nor will they set up nests there. So that's probably not the reason.

Nutcrackers are able to shoot snare flea to death. The nutcracker and any shotgun bullet does not hurt the player if they have a snare flea on their head. Keep in mind that nutcrackers will fire again or reload their shotgun, so it isin't typically a way to survive the multiplayer snare flea encounter.
I can confirm that shotguns fired by a player can also not hurt a player if they have a snare flea on their head. I was playing with one of my friends and of the guys got a snare flea on him. Our guy with the shotgun shot him and the snare flea died, while he was perfectly fine. However me and one other person were standing behind and died from the shotgun blast lol.
@@naerolf09 Saw a clip where someone was trying to fight a nutcracker and turned a corner only to get grabbed by a bracken. Luckily, the nutcracker was right behind the player and shot the bracken before it could finish the neck snapping animation. So, presumably, bracken grab is the same thing as snare flea grab and masked grab and all 3 can be interrupted in the same way (except maybe hitting the player while they are masked-grabbed probably still does damage to the player. not sure on that one).

UPDATES: staircase safe spot got patched out, however on the left of the original safe spot where the corner is has not been patched out you can only trap jester on railing and the left railing is more consistent than the right railing when maneater tries to attack you and you are at a safe spot it will attack once and if it misses, it will just waddle away until the very next day you cant jump up the dam on vow anymore, womp womp
For tip #3 that actually applies to a ton of enemies, not just jester. Some of them do know last known location (bracken), but you can still stall or convince them to swap target. Others will forget you entirely if you jump out of their LoS (old bird and coilheads, though the latter doesn't work if any other players are on the floor).
yeah if you have a coil behind a door and jump while out of its line of sight it will go back into phase 1. i think it only works if 1 person is in the building tho
@@woologic09 Yeah, as I said if another player is on the floor it won't work. The coilhead would simply retarget for a moment. However, if all of those players jump at the same time, they can lose the coilhead.

The Baracken s***s. Like I don't know if this is a game bug or not. Sometimes it doesn't follows its own rules and will attack you regardless or thinks you didnt look at it, while you in fact did. Like I looked short at it and it immediately attacked me, even though I looked away again. It happened in the new cave system. Also it walks around corners and surprise attacks you, even though you saw it coming from the corner... Makes no sense.
@@woologic09I know why everyone thinks it's the braken room. It's just that the room often spawns on the edges from the inside and the braken choses the room thats the farthest away . And there is only 1 room of that so its more noticeable when he brings it there even when its just any other room most of the time

Something I've discovered with the AI pathfinding getting fucked up when jumping - snare fleas will go back up onto the ceiling in v60 when you jump. Not sure if this is patched
I personally don't like using copy and paste with the 'switch' command on the terminal, just because my team normally makes use of radar boosters, so copy pasting the flash command is much better. Spam inputting the switch command is still pretty nice if you don't have or use radar boosters though! Also, putting those methods of getting coilhead and jester stuck was kind of you. I wonder if the tech with getting the spider stuck in the industrial room in facility dungeons still works?

Your debunking of the myth is still right anyway, this room and the Bracken _are_ completely unrelated despite that. That other comment about it generally being a dead end far from any exit and thus the Bracken would "just so happen to drop the body there" does raise a good point, but I personally haven't seen it a lot in practice though to be fair I've been in more Mansions in my life than Factories.
The reason yhe room is known as the bracken room is because if a bracken is spawned and that room is there when the bracken kills somone he will bring them there or in the direcrion of the room

Yes I had heard that this was the room brackens would drag the body’s to these rooms so that’s why I thought it was the bracken room

omg yeah this happened to me once, nut spotted me, snare flea got on me and got shot off, then i picked up my shotgun but i was too slow and i died

ive tried it and the feature where they will not complete a jump as easy when being caught makes it nearly impossible
