Another tip: you can combine both assassinations and disoriented mission by throwing a smoke grenade and assassinating them in the smoke grenade so throw a smoke grenade at the floor and assassinate them!

Hmm yeah smokes can be a bit weird but I still think you can get more per game using them. I guess if you use stuns a lot though then you can be pretty efficient 👍
Only unlocked gold on knife and stopped grinding the rest of melees because of Injured kills, it’s the WORST grind for me, and your fireteam method is really brilliant! Im going to start grind for the rest of melees. Thank you!

For anything working on knife sit inside a small building with high traffic to get double kills. Examples would be right next to stairs in greenhouse downstairs, the wall that hugs the kitchen, most people run right past and don’t check it. Another easy way is play objective based modes while everyone is running to obj flank them get behind and stab away.
Just completed my melee and special diamond so here are some of the best ways; I found the E-Tool and ballistic knife were the easiest of the two, the E-Tool is easily the most well rounded melee in multiplayer, quicker than the knife, though a little less lunge. Ballistic knife is the easiest special if you get into the swing of things with melee because they both have the same camo challenges except for 1 projectile 1 melee in 1 life which is really easy to do. To level them pop double weapon xp boost if you have any (xp boosters stack in case you didn't know), I threw on about 30 mins worth, and then jump into zombies on Forsaken solo. Stay in the starter room, so don't go through portals or open doors, and run around killing zombies until round 15, then quit the match and rinse and repeat until weapon level 30. Just keep kiting the zombies around the room in circles and killing as you go, doesn't matter if you go down before round 15, just exit game and load up another solo Forsaken match. This method is the quickest way to level weapons in the game to my knowledge, and that's even having tried and compared against glitch techniques. Play on core (regular) Nuketown 24/7, don't play hardcore mode. Both melee and special weapons are a 1 shot kill even outside of hardcore. Setup use danger close for wildcard, for perks use tactical mask, tracker and ninja, running flak jacket makes it more difficult to get backstab/finishing move kills on snipers due to gas mines, and a lot of people run stun grenades. Tactical use smoke grenades, lethal use molotov and field upgrade is personal preference though I chose gas mine. For camo challenges, focus on one challenge at a time but make sure you don't avoid passive kills at the same time. For melee focus on doing your finishing moves first, this is to get the annoying part of some teammates killing your enemy mid finishing move and taking the kill away, or the enemy disconnecting to avoid giving you the kill. After that focus on backstabs, then once you've finished that focus on disoriented kills. Try to get into the habit of sliding early on, this makes camo progression much faster overall. Since the E-tool doesn't have a lot of lunge like the regular knife and if you're doing melee right you'll likely find yourself chasing people around for a while before being able to hit them, learn to slide into the enemy to kill them to compensate for lack of lunge. It might be tough at first but you'll get into the hang of it. Don't worry about double kills etc. You'll earn those passively with little problem. As for kills when injured, this shouldn't be a problem unless you have a habit of playing conservatively with health in mind, if you do then get used to not caring about your health as much. For disoriented kills, get into habit of throwing down a smoke grenade then running straight into the smoke and sitting there for a minute, if you see an enemy in a house, throw a smoke grenade then run in and try to kill them. This can be a little annoying sometimes because you won't be able to see too well through the smoke at times, but keep at it and you'll get progress. I often threw smoke straight into the area between the two buses in the middle of the map, or on hardpoint, straight into the point. Sitting inside of the smoke for a while can also help, just make sure you're aware of any enemies that enter it though as the smoke radius is kind of small sometimes. Extra note that the smoke/stun for disoriented kills must be your own, and you must kill them yourself, there's no having a friend throw smokes out for you to sit in. Backstab kills and finishing moves is just a matter of getting behind the enemy, just run straight into their house, go upstairs and check the top floor window, if spawn flips and you spawn on the yellow house side, some people will sit in the garage behind the door into the kitchen or on the right most side of the house. Note that sometimes these can be a little difficult as you have to be absolutely directly behind the enemy when killing them, sometimes you can stab them just a little too far to the side and it won't count, so keep that in mind. Sound is your friend when melee, hearing footsteps helps you figure out where enemies likely are, which direction they're moving in etc, this way it makes it easier to flank them or come at them from angles they wouldn't expect. It doesn't have to be extremely loud, just so you can hear footsteps. Learn not to rely on your team too much. Sometimes they'll come in and help out killing an enemy, but make sure you try to kill any enemy in your immediate vicinity, especially when they're running around alone, pick them off one by one and it'll help you rack up some streaks. If you do really badly one game, get spawn locked and can't get out of spawn, don't get any progress, don't stress it. It's normal sometimes. From my matchmaking I've noticed that if you had a good K/D to begin with then these challenges might be significantly more difficult for you, but on top of that you'll eventually get a game or two in a row where you can't do much if anything because you did too well the last couple games, there's no way to negate this so just roll with it, still keep trying though and don't just rage quit because things got tough. If you play a few hard games just know you'll have some upcoming games that will be marginally easier. Worst case try teaming up with a friend who you know isn't too good and you'll get thrown into some lobbies with people that are pretty bad. Keep yourself in a positive mindset, maybe you didn't get any camo challenge progress in one game but even still you're almost guaranteed a better game shortly after. Learn to use the molotovs as well, if you don't want the enemy coming around from a certain side or out of a certain door, or there's someone camping the top window on either side making it difficult for you to get things done, throw a molotov, it'll keep them out of there for a little while enough for you to run past. This is why I ran molotovs, helps a little to funnel enemies where you want them to be, especially helps with campers and to guide them into your smoke. Melee might seem impossible if you haven't done it before, and at first it can take a little while to become adjusted for some people, but I got both the E-tool and ballistic knife gold camos across 2 days, and if you're going for DM ultra, 25% progress in 2 days is extremely quick. I was dropping bloodthirstys without it even being needed, merciless kills, quite often carrying my whole team with a melee weapon. I thought melee would be extremely difficult at first too, but I can say now that the E-tool and ballistic knife challenges are some of the easiest camo challenges I have completed in this game. For the injured kills I used molotovs in HC to injure myself and then went for the kills! Also the hardest thing for me was the rapid double kills. But I tried core instead of HC and found that it was much easier for that task! All in all the knife wasn't to bad to achieve gold. It was just taking the time to get it all done
Ooh yeah not a bad idea! I found doing the knife in hardcore was hell though as you die even easier than normal so getting close to people is basically impossible 😂
Same broo it was not hard at all somehow i got alk my double kills from 1 to 25 in 2 hours even i have sweat lobbies only hardest thing was aerial scorestreaks with rpg but somehow i shot down spy planes with it in nuketown and even ok my my first try
Tbf the finishing moves are a lot easier to do in Fireteam. Since the audio is pretty bad, it’s easy to parachute behind enemies and execute them. I got like 15 or more in one match in Sanatorium. Btw your tips are being very helpful, keep it up man!

I actually got my execution camos done in one, really long, like an hour and a half long game of combined arms assault on miami. And I was being a rebel and did the injured kills and smoke kills in nuketown. Rip my already garbage K/D

Ahh yeah it can be very frustrating, sometimes it's just so inconsistent! 😡 And yeah especially with the disoriented one, you really have to stand right behind them and then stun/ flash to be sure you'll get it!

It's the disoriented kills for me lol I've gotten everything else done and still have 20 more kills left. People wear tactical mask so the stuns dont do much and smoke grenades blind me, so it's rough, but that's been the only way for me to get them.
Yeah I guess disoriented can be an issue if you keep getting lobbies with people using the counter perks... When you find someone not using tactical mask you just have to remember their skin and try to only stun them! 😂
Im at 30/35. I just need to finish the executions and I got dm ultra! For me the most fun is knife man everyone is raging and I did 14 fast kill without dying and I got the action if the game 🔥
When I did this I used the wildcard that lets you have 6 perks. Having two smokes is nice but you get one every time you die. Whereas you always have the perks. Especially the ones that make you silent and track footsteps.
I think that strategy can definitely work when you're doing most of the challenges, but when you're going for the kill enemies who are stunned/ flashed etc, I think having the extra tactical is really important!

Knife is easier than launchers tho you only need 1 melee gold but you should just play nuketown, smoke and camp in the house usually people will look out of the window or the front door
In Modern Warfare 2019 I have Platinum melee and the way I got the injured kills was I would go into hardcore and then throw a thermite at the ground let it deal a little bit of damage to me and then go kill someone the reason why I was in hardcore is so that way you don't Regen health
Ooh yeah I have some people mention this strategy! I just feel like it's hard enough meleeing people in core, let alone in hardcore where you can get one shot from any distance! If you can play it right and make it work it does sound like a good strategy though 👍

My biggest problem is needing Ghost and Ninja. No sense in going on massive flanks or sneaking around on Nuketown just for Camping Carl to see me on the mini map
Haha yeah that's always annoying tbf! I did use ghost to start with but when I replaced it with gung ho, I just found the kills came in much easier! Ghost is definitely better for non nuketown maps though 👍
The science challenges are the worst. I had my wakizashi all done except science in which I had zero. I am at ten now and it is a horrible.pain, I may switch to smoke grenades.

I feel fireteam is very easy for executions, nobody reacts to your parachute, and you can literally land right behind people and just execute them lool. Wondering if its possible to do executions, injured kills and smokes all together in one kill, if you down someone, molly yourself, and throw a smoke on them and then do the finisher.
Yeah definitely a fair point, fireteam absolutely can work! Interesting idea though, I reckon it should technically be possible 🤔 might not be the most reliable strategy but definitely worth a try I'd say!
Yeah as cold war has aged the more 'niche' game modes have been removed / don't have enough people playing so it definitely makes the grind a lot harder for certain weapons 🙁
But hey, I stuck it out, and I found that in this stage of Cold War, something like the ballistic knife or crossbow I'd far more viable. I did end up getting diamond yesterday.

Very insightful. Knifing in this game is actually very fun but I'm struggling with those smoke kills seems like the radius for the smoke is too small for me and the fact there is no clear way of knowing whether a kill counted towards it or not is also annoying but not to much of a big deal.

@@MusmiBlackOps concerning signs , questioning whether I should go for dark matter now after the sliding kills challenge as it depends on whether the game decides to let you get the kill or not and also after seeing the M79 and some of its challenges dark matter is looking far off for me which is annoying seeing as I've been playing cod since bo1 and have never come this close to dark matter and I started with secondaries first.

The most efficient way for me was sneaking up on campers throwing a molotov on them so i can get the survivor, backstabber and sliding kills at the same time
Any challenge in particular? Nuketown 24/7 is great for most of the challenges but combined Arms is best for the finishing moves and killing enemies while stunned challenges. Then the low life challenge is best done in fireteam dirty bomb 🙂

Ahh yeah, prepare for that kd to drop a little bit! The knife isn't too bad though at least so it shouldn't drop too much! Also to get diamond specials you only have to do one of either the thumper or crossbow so you only need to pick one of them to do! 👍

So there's 9 weapon classes you have to get diamond for. I think if you seperated out melee and special that would be 10 in total, so I guess technically they count as 2 if that makes sense?
The machete wasn't out when I recorded the video but all of the advice should still work! For the machete, maybe give the 12v12 mosh pit playlist a go, I've found it by far the best place for weapon challenges these days! 💪
They were quite hard to do at first but once you get into the rhythm of it they were actually quite fun! If you check out the knife episode of my RNG Camo Mastery series (season 1) you can see how I dealt with the challenge 🙂

At the time of recording it 100% worked, I've not seen any patch notes saying anything about this but who knows if it was changed at some point. I'd say give it a go and see if it works 👍
Combined arms is trash. Nothing but sweaty snipers. Can't even get halfway across the map using smoke. Nuke town is awful too. Idk how people get this thing gold with their sanity intact.
Yeah so I found on combined Arms you really have to go round the edge of the map away from any sort of fight to have a chance, also smokes help a lot with moving round the map. Nuketown can be quite hard, but again smokes help so so much with getting close enough to your enemies to stab them 👍

I was dropping bloodthirstys without it even being needed, merciless kills, quite often carrying my whole team with a melee weapon. I thought melee would be extremely difficult at first too, but I can say now that the E-tool and ballistic knife challenges are some of the easiest camo challenges I have completed in this game.

For the injured kills I used molotovs in HC to injure myself and then went for the kills! Also the hardest thing for me was the rapid double kills. But I tried core instead of HC and found that it was much easier for that task! All in all the knife wasn't to bad to achieve gold. It was just taking the time to get it all done
Ooh yeah not a bad idea! I found doing the knife in hardcore was hell though as you die even easier than normal so getting close to people is basically impossible 😂

Tbf the finishing moves are a lot easier to do in Fireteam. Since the audio is pretty bad, it’s easy to parachute behind enemies and execute them. I got like 15 or more in one match in Sanatorium. Btw your tips are being very helpful, keep it up man!

I actually got my execution camos done in one, really long, like an hour and a half long game of combined arms assault on miami. And I was being a rebel and did the injured kills and smoke kills in nuketown. Rip my already garbage K/D

I just struggled on the disoriented challenge, the hit detection is wild.
Ahh yeah it can be very frustrating, sometimes it's just so inconsistent! 😡 And yeah especially with the disoriented one, you really have to stand right behind them and then stun/ flash to be sure you'll get it!
I’m doing this now and it’s harder than the damn launchers for me. This is the real KD killer.

Yeah sliding kills are pretty awkward but I found once you get used to them they get easier 👍
Also i got my injured kills in like 2 games by playing cranked, there are little explosions everywhere and when you kill an enemy up close.👍

It's the disoriented kills for me lol I've gotten everything else done and still have 20 more kills left. People wear tactical mask so the stuns dont do much and smoke grenades blind me, so it's rough, but that's been the only way for me to get them.
Yeah I guess disoriented can be an issue if you keep getting lobbies with people using the counter perks... When you find someone not using tactical mask you just have to remember their skin and try to only stun them! 😂

Im at 30/35. I just need to finish the executions and I got dm ultra! For me the most fun is knife man everyone is raging and I did 14 fast kill without dying and I got the action if the game 🔥
When I did this I used the wildcard that lets you have 6 perks. Having two smokes is nice but you get one every time you die. Whereas you always have the perks. Especially the ones that make you silent and track footsteps.
I think that strategy can definitely work when you're doing most of the challenges, but when you're going for the kill enemies who are stunned/ flashed etc, I think having the extra tactical is really important!
How is your screen not blind in the smoke?
I think this video might have been filmed before they changed how much smokes affected your screen. The advice is still valid though in my opinion 🙂

Knife is easier than launchers tho you only need 1 melee gold but you should just play nuketown, smoke and camp in the house usually people will look out of the window or the front door

In Modern Warfare 2019 I have Platinum melee and the way I got the injured kills was I would go into hardcore and then throw a thermite at the ground let it deal a little bit of damage to me and then go kill someone the reason why I was in hardcore is so that way you don't Regen health
Ooh yeah I have some people mention this strategy! I just feel like it's hard enough meleeing people in core, let alone in hardcore where you can get one shot from any distance! If you can play it right and make it work it does sound like a good strategy though 👍

I have only 2 more weapons for dm ultra and that’s the knife and I’m using the crossbow because I almost have it done already so I’m just skipping the thumper

My biggest problem is needing Ghost and Ninja. No sense in going on massive flanks or sneaking around on Nuketown just for Camping Carl to see me on the mini map
Haha yeah that's always annoying tbf! I did use ghost to start with but when I replaced it with gung ho, I just found the kills came in much easier! Ghost is definitely better for non nuketown maps though 👍

The science challenges are the worst. I had my wakizashi all done except science in which I had zero. I am at ten now and it is a horrible.pain, I may switch to smoke grenades.

I feel fireteam is very easy for executions, nobody reacts to your parachute, and you can literally land right behind people and just execute them lool. Wondering if its possible to do executions, injured kills and smokes all together in one kill, if you down someone, molly yourself, and throw a smoke on them and then do the finisher.
Yeah definitely a fair point, fireteam absolutely can work!
Interesting idea though, I reckon it should technically be possible 🤔 might not be the most reliable strategy but definitely worth a try I'd say!

Yeah I don't think many people play cold war much any more so that makes it much harder right now! 😕
My only problem with this guide is that combined arms no longer exists and I can't enter a fireteam game
Yeah as cold war has aged the more 'niche' game modes have been removed / don't have enough people playing so it definitely makes the grind a lot harder for certain weapons 🙁
But hey, I stuck it out, and I found that in this stage of Cold War, something like the ballistic knife or crossbow I'd far more viable. I did end up getting diamond yesterday.

@@craig2406 slide kills are very awkward at first while you're getting used to them. You could play against some easy bots and practice getting the timing down that way?
@@MusmiBlackOps there's no such thing as sliding face on to an enemy without being shot first unless u stun them which just makes it even more of headache, sliding from behind is only option in most sweaty lobbies

Very insightful. Knifing in this game is actually very fun but I'm struggling with those smoke kills seems like the radius for the smoke is too small for me and the fact there is no clear way of knowing whether a kill counted towards it or not is also annoying but not to much of a big deal.
I'm glad you found the video useful! But yeah the radius for getting smokes to count towards the challenge is hard to judge which is why I finished the last few of that challenge with the sneak + flash strategy. Good luck with finishing the gold, it's looks awesome! 🔥

@@MusmiBlackOps concerning signs , questioning whether I should go for dark matter now after the sliding kills challenge as it depends on whether the game decides to let you get the kill or not and also after seeing the M79 and some of its challenges dark matter is looking far off for me which is annoying seeing as I've been playing cod since bo1 and have never come this close to dark matter and I started with secondaries first.

Any tips for killing while sliding, I feel like that was the most difficult. I always just die once I slide in their face.
Hmmm sliding kills are quite awkward to get tbf! I just found that it takes a while to get used to doing them consistently but sliding from a little bit further away than you think was what worked best for me 👍
The most efficient way for me was sneaking up on campers throwing a molotov on them so i can get the survivor, backstabber and sliding kills at the same time
I only have trouble with slims by smoke flash and stun
I’ve been doing it on nuketown but is there a better mode for it?
Hijacked is also a good map for it so if the nukejacked playlist is still a thing then that's an ideal place to go!

Any challenge in particular? Nuketown 24/7 is great for most of the challenges but combined Arms is best for the finishing moves and killing enemies while stunned challenges. Then the low life challenge is best done in fireteam dirty bomb 🙂

So there's 9 weapon classes you have to get diamond for. I think if you seperated out melee and special that would be 10 in total, so I guess technically they count as 2 if that makes sense?

The machete wasn't out when I recorded the video but all of the advice should still work! For the machete, maybe give the 12v12 mosh pit playlist a go, I've found it by far the best place for weapon challenges these days! 💪

They were quite hard to do at first but once you get into the rhythm of it they were actually quite fun! If you check out the knife episode of my RNG Camo Mastery series (season 1) you can see how I dealt with the challenge 🙂

At the time of recording it 100% worked, I've not seen any patch notes saying anything about this but who knows if it was changed at some point. I'd say give it a go and see if it works 👍

Combined arms is trash. Nothing but sweaty snipers. Can't even get halfway across the map using smoke. Nuke town is awful too. Idk how people get this thing gold with their sanity intact.
Yeah so I found on combined Arms you really have to go round the edge of the map away from any sort of fight to have a chance, also smokes help a lot with moving round the map. Nuketown can be quite hard, but again smokes help so so much with getting close enough to your enemies to stab them 👍
