Lol, I just realized in all of his attempts he started out by making a base, and building this massive wall to keep him safe before doing anything else. Meanwhile, in my hardcore world I'm like 260 days in, defeated the dragon a while ago and never built any base at all, I just slept in the open with like 20 double chests and all of my stuff besides it, enchanting table, brewing stand, whatever, all in the open. Guess its time to get started on a proper base
Meanwhile, I always dig a """temporary""" hole in the side of a mountain to prepare to build a proper base out of... and wind out spending the entirety of my playthrough living in it anyways. My bee farms are more homely than my actual homes.
Here's a tip for not dying: In my minecraft survival world I only ever die because I do something stupid and reckless, like that time I died going trident hunting; or because something truly unexpected happened, Like that time I was jumped by an army of mobs on the other side of a nether portal (I can only assume it was because my underground portal room was poorly lit, and the mobs that went in the portal didn't spawn because the nether wasn't loaded into the game).
This video is the tip of the iceberg of the Minecraft What if Notch hadn't messed up the size of that one pig. Imagine all the outcomes,all the different 100 days survival worlds that could have existed if Creepers didn't.
Luke's series is what inspired me to get back into Minecraft recently. I currently live in a cozy little spruce wood shack on the top of a snowy mountain, with a path down the mountain to a village. There's also a potion lab and grand library under construction under the shack And yes, there is a large wooden wall around the compound. Walls really are the keys to a safe compound

I know this’ll probably never be found even by Indiana Jones and he’s great at that but I died in Minecraft Hardcore on my second attempt. It’s actually going just like this. First attempt I died within three days and second attempt I died past thirty. So I just wanted to watch this to remember that even the Notable one that inspires us all to make 100 Days died as well. He wasn’t automatically surviving. So thank you, Luke. For being here to inspire us all in our time of need. Whether that be a hardcore death or something completely unrelated, thank you.
The creeper killed you even when you blocked because you blocked after the creepers explosion was calculated. Even if it hadn’t lagged, you still would’ve died.
I don’t know why no one is talking about this, but he would have died either way at 4:10. Despite the lag, the Creeper still completed its explosion animation before he even put his shield up. There’s really nothing to be confused about.
