I totally love this car. It is a huge improvement over the unsuccessful latitude and Laguna. Renault design is very revolutionary compared to the past and this car is no exception. I can not say anything about the built quality as I haven't been inside the car. As far as the engine is concerned I would pick the 1,6 dci with 130 or 160 ps which is also a great engine and more powerful than the 1,5 together with the excellent edc automatic. Overall I think that this car with the equipment that people individualy want is a good solution compared to the mainstream (and excellent of course) passat and mondeo.
I know the one I got was pretty poorly configured (lots of very cheap materials which didn't make sense in such a good looking sedan). That's why I might have been a bit rough with the review. Honestly, I'm waiting for an opportunity to drive a well spec'd Talisman since I completely agree this car is gorgeous! (and, indeed, a huge step up from the boring Latitude).
I have it. Its perfect. But not this one. - The full options one - SkyRoof, 200 horse power, amazing speed, full leather... Do not review basic models - they are cheap and that's why they are called - "basic" :)

I've got the Talisman Energy TCe 150 EDC Intens Bose® automatic and I really do love this car. I think there's just a few competition in price/quality/options what you get with the Talisman. It drives insanely good for a mid-class car so I agree with Nykk!
It does look good! But I really like the redesigned Altima, the upcoming 2019 one that was unveiled recently. We had to wait 50 years for Mustangs to be officially imported in EU countries so I perfectly understand how shitty it feels to desire a car, which you can afford, but not being able to buy due to some stupid import laws :(
The Euro Car Show Especially our current US import rules, you have to wait 25 years to import a car, I feel that Euro, US and Japanese Emission standards are almost identical. I would to import the Peugeot 308 GTi or if I hit the lotto the Audi RS6.
Jose M Brito I think import rules are really stupid and pointless. We bought an older Mustang with from the US and it's been a year since we started the registration process due to some papers which were not delivered in the US but necessary in the EU -.- I 100% support you with the RS6 haha but i'm not a huge fan of the 308gti, I'd go for a Yaris GRMN or a Hyundai i30N instead hehe
@@TheEuroCarShow Yes same engine, and probably same options, it deliveres enough performance, and every where we go the car gets attention because of it's looks.
@@Jordanbarettt The looks are on point. I like the way this car looks a lot. But i thought the interior didn't match the exterior at all. It was very monotonous and some of the materials used were pretty cheap. As for the engine, it is powerful enough to move the car, but that's about it. I think a 2.0 turbo diesel engine would have been a better fit. Something similar with what you can find in Citroens and Peugeots. All that being said, I wasn't trying to destroy the model because I do like it.

Honestly, this Renault looks way better than the US market Nissan Altima, I wish Renaults and Peugeots come back to the US.

And in the car I tried, it actually fell off and the interior roof was detattaced. A known fault, the dealer said.
