sorry for late reply, but for darker settings:
brightness -1
evnvironment defuse scale .1
evnvironment specular scale -1
for brighter settings:
brightness 1
evnvironment defuse scale .25
evnvironment specular scale 1

then turn the contrast up, its close to the top
also for each brightness setting if you didn't do this, make it something random, click the yellow lettering of what youre changing, and then put in what you want, and click the yellow lettering again
