Today we’re taking you around one of our favourite cities: Cape Town, South Africa.
We first visited Cape Town in 2015 as the final stop on a monthlong trip across South Africa. However, by the time we arrived, we only had a couple of days to spare and the weather was less than ideal, so we didn’t get to see very much.
We knew we had to return to do the city justice and also film a proper Cape Town travel guide for you guys. This time around, we gave ourselves a full week to spare.
Our days were packed with sightseeing, and with visits to restaurants, chocolate shops, wineries and gin distilleries, so without further delay, let us show you 30 things do in Cape Town, South Africa.
And that’s a wrap for our week in Cape Town, South Africa. We hope you enjoyed following along and that this guide gave you a few ideas of things to see, do and eat in Cape Town. How was your experience?
We loved Cape Town when we went last year. A highlight was visiting Kalk Bay, a beautiful fishing village a short drive away from Cape Town. We also learnt to surf at Big Bay, Bloubergstrand which has amazing views of Table Mountain!

Samuel and Audrey - Travel and Food Videos You should really explore the Western Cape more. Mosselbay, Oudthshoorn. Can ride a ostrich and explore the Congo caves, with a red tour for the daring. They also have a bunny farm. Mosselbay have a lot of museums and arts spots, Diaz ship, water park. There are lots to do I can't even name it all. Plus the weather is always good, never hot never cold. Was in the records books for the best climate year round in the southern hemisphere.

Great video guys :) I totally agree the pizza in South Africa is absolutely delicious! All the food is incredible there. Watching this seriously makes me miss my time in Cape Town 😭💔 Hubby and I recently spent over a month travelling around different parts of Africa and we completely fell in love with Cape Town, it's seriously so hard to imagine a more beautiful place in the world, it's perfection. We loved surfing there, climbing Lion's Head Mountain (The best place to watch a gorgeous sunset) and we miss seeing those cheeky, cute and very comical African Penguins on the beach. Cape Town is a place that once you have been there you will never forget it 🐧🌊🏄🌍

We live in Cape Town South Africa and we are so happy that you enjoyed yourself here! We always love it when people enjoy the things to do in our city. Its packed with activity. I would highly recommend coming in Mar- May for the Wine Harvest Festivals. There are also strawberry/ fruit, foraging, kite and tones of other festivals to do in Cape Town! Happy travelling.

Hey guys! I just wanted to write and say thank you for making this video. We just came back from Cape Town. Before we went, we watched this video and it was really helpful. We did several of the things you mentioned here! It was a life saver especially for my boyfriend, who is is vegetarian and loves Indian food...we went to the Eastern Food Bazaar 9 times while we were staying in CT, there aren't a lot of vegetarian options in CT so this was essential. We also went to the Cape Malay restaurant, it was awesome. It was part of our daily ritual! We wouldn't have known about it without this video. If there's anything I can say to those considering going to Cape Town, the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are a MUST DO, it's the most beautiful garden I've ever been to.
Oh, and we LOVED Yours Truly! We went there 4 times :)

Cape Town is one of the most fascinating cities we've ever visited. I don't think we'll ever live there but it is a city we'd love to revisit as many times as possible.

West coast National park, Oudtshoorn caves, Boomslang cave hike in False bay, Cheetah park in Somerset west. Aquarium in the waterfront. Seal island. Shark cage diving. Whale watching in Hermanus.
Coz theirs nothing left to do in capetown lol so even we stay here we watch what others do
Try the biscuit mill market on the right day. (saterday i think ?) Food/ clothing etc.

Do you need a car to get around or is there public transportation?
We ended up walking a lot, public buses seem decent and Uber is popular.
alteredillusions100 the public transport (aka taxis) are really unsafe, the drivers aren’t great, it’s best to order an Uber 😊

As a Jo'burger I would recommend: Charlie's Bakery ; head out to Hout Bay for a trip to Seal Island. ( If you're lucky you'll see a Great White shark.) Blues is a great restaurant to try in Camps Bay; hire a bicycle and cycle along the SeaPoint promenade and you absolutely need to go to Kalk Bay too.

The Zeits Mocaa museum opened recently. Absolutely beautiful art works, should add this to your next video if you come visit again😊The northern suburb is also beautiful: Beach front has a lot of restaurant and clubs, the kite beach, Eden on the bay, Tablebay mall
