- It is progress tour time at my fixer upper house!! We have been renovating this house for 28 months now and it looks fantastic!! I also have some exciting surprises to show you in the kitchen!
Hey there! My name is Abby and I recently bought a MAJOR fixer upper house. I am SO excited to work on fixing it up this old house and turning it into my dream home. I can't wait to take you on this journey with me! I am planning to DIY as much as I can and learn so much about home renovations along the way. I am starting out totally clueless so I am sure it will be a grand adventure! The deer and kitty clip was soooo cute. Just a reminder when you plant bushes and flowers you are going to want to research if deer like to eat them. I love lilies but so do the deer. My apple tree really attracts them too.

Love the fawn and kitty, your home is looking like it wants to be finished. Can not wait. Looks great!!!!! A lot of work, a ton of work but it al pays off. The cabinets look great, love the handles, and that sink is the best of the best. I like the sink on the island. Those floors I cannot see enough of. Beautiful.

I totally agree with your decision to place the sink facing the living room. Makes for more cozy and intimate setting. You can see your room full of family and or guests to talk to while preparing a meal. I am so happy for you. Keep crackin!

I just purchased a King Koil Princess mattress, box spring and steel frame for myself. $1,996.00 from Country Farm Furniture in Bath, Maine. I can recommend it very much as I am a 72-year-old- timer . I live in a 1904 renovated industrial building. On the National Register of Historic places.

Are you thinking about putting in a bar counter top on the other side of your sink area with some stools? I think that would really work out great. Then having some iron but open railing on top of area on left and right side of your sink. This you could use for displaying plants or old antiques dishes. Just a wild idea.
So much hard work!! I love to see the progress and all your plans come to light. I was wondering if you could make a video or include in one a list of what still needs to get done before you can move in. You could maybe go room by room or list by project... base boards in the house etc.

It has been an incredible journey so far for you and all your fans, including me, from day one. I wish I could be there the day you move in, how exciting would that be! I love the layout of the kitchen. I'm at the sink waaaay more than I'm at the stove. Will you do any kind of built in seating at the bay window or a couple of comfy chairs?

I was one of those who was in favor of the sink under your back window! But afterwards I did say look at the beautiful view from where she decided to place it, plus I love the stainless sink I bought one similar with the cutting board that fits on top along with two different sinks that fit inside of it. I love my stainless sink... And yours is equally as nice and will be wonderful in the years to come. Love the mat black hardware, and now the question is stainless appliances or black?! I have black and I love them, I can assure you stainless is tough to keep hand prints off etc.. I used to clean houses and stainless was a pain! Beautiful... But hard to keep clean! It looks so nice Abby we are all so proud of you and how far you've come! It's truly picturesque! You will have a lovely home and wonderful life to live there in that old 150-ish year old fixer upper house! 👏❤️🤠🍻
