I was fortunate enough to find a programme of this show that lists all the interesting songs and their authors and background information. I always wondered if this show was filmed in its entirety. To see this video today brought an immense happiness for me as I miss Barry Humphries so very much, his humour, his intelligence, his presence. Again, thank you for posting and bringing a much needed joy.
My first time seeing Barry perform outside of his famous and scintillating alter ego, Dame Edna Everidge. He did very well in this more sedate performance, however, this possum will always prefer his dame. RIP, and Gladiolas! Gladiolas! Gladiolas!
