Introducing Louis Sharp - New Zealand's next racing star

After travelling 12,000 miles across the world, Carlin newcomer Louis Sharp had his first experience of 'slicks and wings' at the ROKiT F4 British Championship certified by FIA's Brands Hatch test earlier this week (8 March).
With support from Trevor Carlin's championship-winning team and FIA Formula 2 star Liam Lawson, the 14-year-old began the process of getting to grips with a new formula in one of the series' older 'Gen-1 cars'.
The New Zealander completed an impressive 161 laps of the Indy circuit on his first run out in the car, receiving high praise. He will miss the first event at Donington Park (23-24 April) due to his age, but looks forward to an otherwise full-season assault on the championship.
