Just found out about Danebury thanks to looking up maps. I run a game of Pendragon for a few friends, and one of our players rolled Nether Wallop as the home for his knight. So right across the brook and in the woods from his manor home is an ancient abandoned fort that at one time may have been struck by a meteorite. If that doesn't deserve the addition of a spooky abandoned ghost fort adventure, I don't know what does! Wonderful info, I"m hoping I can use it to inform a bit of my game prep.
Great video, but definitely need to steam that spear straight. If not turned from heartwood, the Iron Age definitely had coppiced trees to make tools from. I miss Danebury, used to live not far away. Great museum in Andover.
Excellent video. Contemporary clothes and lifestyle. Keep up the good work!
