Sonic X's Eggman is a mood at curtain points in the series and I love him because of that fact.
Anyway, I like the fact that cloning Sonic is near impossible in the series. In the Archie universe Robotnik made a fake Sonic that aged too quickly and looked like and older Sonic in this series S.O.N.I.C.X. made 6 different clones that all had different imperfections from color to personality. The final clone's imperfection was the eye color and the shorter limbs. I wouldn't know about the other media Sonic's appeared in so everyone gonna need to list everytime Sonic was cloned in the entire series.
In Fleetway Sonic comic, Grimer, Eggman's lacky, created a perfect Sonic clone.
Only problem was he aged too quickly.
In the same comic, "Extra life" of Sonic became sentient and evil, and equal to Sonic in every way before he was imprisoned and lost in space forever.
Kintober could have mass produced extra lives, but because they were chaotic he stopped trying to make those
Ah!... That's where I remember the Sonic that aged too quickly from.
Then again maybe it did happen in the Archie universe, who knows. But still goes to show that Sonic is near impossible to clone properly.
Many can try but the original is always superior to any fakes and Sonic is a prime example of that philosophy. Whether it be robots or virtual copies it doesn't matter, the original will all be better than an imitator.
@@justsomesimplenuclearbirbs4313 I never thought it was impossible to clone sonic, it's just Robotnik is more of a machine guy, not biological scientist.
If he wanted to, I imagine Robotnik could have perfected the cloning process and make an army of Sonics.
He tends to move on after his schene fails though, even if it was close to defeating Sonic. Starline noticed this in IDW Sonic
He looked up to his grandfather Professor Gerald, I wouldn't put it past Eggman/Robotnik to try and make a clone of Sonic or his friends just to stop/kill the blue blur.

But like Eggman told Starline, there is a "right way" and a "wrong way" of defeating Sonic.
Eggman could, in his own words, "Carpet bomb" Sonic any time he wanted to(interpret that how you think if you belive it's possible).
But he prefers to be creative, defeat Sonic, make him lose all hope, then take him out. If one idea fails, he won't try to duplicate it, because it isn't creative anymore.
Why do you think he gave up trying to recreate Neo Metal Sonic, even though he almost won?

Green= Legendary Super Saiyan
Purple= Possessed Super Saiyan from Xenoverse

Judging by the last copy's design, it's based off the western design of Classic Sonic. AKA, Mohawk Sonic, seen in the 90s cartoons.

This video was definitely a great way to kick off Megabeatman’s Sonic 30th Anniversary commemorations, reviewing a comic issue where Sonic fought different versions of himself. As for Classic Sonic, SEGA must’ve looked at this and picked up a bit of inspiration when they were making Sonic Generations, looks like Sonic X Issue 25 set the stage for what was to come in the 2010s. Also, I wouldn’t worry about the fight between Sonic and Classic Sonic happening over two stories, its ok to do a one part story. I wonder what the initial pitch for the story was like, hmmm. Well, MBM, it was great to see another one of your vids.

Classic sonic is from another dimension and timeline, Boom, that,s it. And I actually enjoyed seeing classic and modern sonic together.
