This is my first ever Deltarune Battle animation, i decided to make heaven says as an animation because its a cool concept that nobody implemented so far, i hope you like it :)

Think the problem with heaven says is that it doesn’t sound like a deltarune song, so people use it for more fitting things, even though it was originally created as a deltarune song

ok I'm gonna be honest, this was absolute GAS. Mainly because I love how the name says "Gospell" even though it's "Gospel" and it's referencing "spell", because y'know... Heaven says, but besides that, loved the effects, background, and basically everything about this, there's a lot of effort put into this and I love it, nice job!! x3

For the people who don’t get this, this isn’t the ORIGINAL Heaven Says, it’s the Mandela Catalog Mix.
If this were to be an AU of Deltarune, who would Cesar be? Who would be Gabriel? Would Mandela County replace Hometown? Who, (or what) would the SOUL be? It would be an interesting concept.

Well, toby fox is... Lazy, he didn't make a face sprite for monster kid, even though they appears many times around the game, or mettaton, but he did face sprite for berdly and noelle, that's how i knew, they were gonna be important, i was right, the new characters on kris's classroom aren't filler characters, they will eventually became important, and its been forshadowed to be a point where kris and susie will go to a church, that's my theory

Lemme just say, The Animation for this is really dang good. I feel the Mandela Catalog theming kinda takes over what was originally suppose to be a Deltarune Boss theme, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I enjoyed the video and subtle nods here and there.
You did an excellent job, and keep up the good work ^^.

Awesome battle animation once again, not something impossible, but definitely would keep you on your toes if the fight was playable! Nonetheless, great work once again!
The idea of a Speak n Spell being a prophet that treats the words its used to spell as gospel from "Heaven" is so cool! Really awesome animation too
It would be cool if someone made a full fan game on this. HP should be exchanged for mental health, and heals would be words of consolation.
anyone else notice fan animations and etc that take place in chapter 2 or beyond have the chapter 1 stats, kris had 90 hp in this animation but in chapter 2 he has like over 140, (i forgot the exact number), and in chapter 3 he would prob be over 200 hp.

When you put on subtitles and read the captions for lyrics its... actually incredibly deep, and very tied to my religion (Christianity), also in 1:57 that time frame where it shows the beginning of genesis and all that, I believe that the lyrics or, "narrator" singing the lyrics was Lucifer (Satan).

I actually really like the idea that Gospell has really long attacks but is comparatively fragile compared to the other superbosses, taking much less total attacks in order to topple down the lie

1:45 I find it funny that right before the narrator in the mandela mix says heaven says original sin, it has a beat like it is a beat drop to the story which is just funny to me.
This is so awesome!!! Finally we get some more Heaven Says stuff for Deltarune. I also created a fangame with SpeakNSpell called Now Spell.

Eyy, finally a design for the HEAVEN SAYS boss that isn't "haha photorealistic speak and spell so creepy"
But the whole thing about speknspell IS that its photorealistic, its like photoshop flowey, it breaks the normal rules of the battles which is scary, taking that away makes it less interesting, especially when adding so much unsubtle christian symbolism

Honestly, I kinda preferred the old Speak and Spell. I know it was supposed to be a Placeholder for Gospell, but the idea that a Darkner saw so far past the veil that they became full aware of what they truly are and ended up in this state of existing and non-existence in tandem is honestly great horror.

This is so so cool!! All the effects are beautiful, the attacks look SO cool, I love that the spelling parts of the song are an actual spelling minigame, and the rainbow after images of Gospell are so cool.
