Do you prefer the Tornado V4 (flagship) or Weilong V10 (Maglev Ballcore)? Although I gave the V10 a slightly higher score, it's important to note that this is based on my personal preferences after evaluating their differences. I truly think that both cubes are amazing, and I just wanna highlight their differences (especially in turning feel and performance) to help you make your purchase decision easier if you are considering which cube to buy. Or if you already own these cubes, feel free to share your thoughts on them as well!
I just came from your other video "First Look: Tornado V4 Flagship!" and saw this in my recommendations. This is nearly perfect because I have the v10 (spring version), and want to switch to the TV4 due to the magnets being too strong on the WRM. I'm slightly concerned about the lack of auto-alignment in the TV4 but I think I might like it more. My score leaned highly toward the TV4. Thanks for this detailed comparison!
I'm glad this video helps! Yeah even tho the V4 doesn't have much auto alignment, at level 5 corner-edge magnets the cube actually maintains its chape pretty well. I've recently switched from level 4 to level 5 because of that.
@@JohnAJ-07 yeah the magnets are strong that's why there isn't much resistance in the middle of an M slice. But I get what you mean, to start an M slice it takes more force than cubes with weak magnets
@@JusTwistCubing Its weird, the edge magnets actually make the auto alignment worst, I've tried the flagship version from a friend and the flagship autoaligns more easily
I like the tv4 pioneer design.. I've got something of a more aggressive turning style where I always lockupon my mouth warm v9. I'm going to go for a tv4 flagship. What would you recommend?
should I get a moyu weilong v9 or v10 or a tornado v4 pioneer or flagship my turns are a bit aggressive and I used to main a blocky cube so my turns are not too inaccurate
In general I think the V9 is the best cube for aggressive turning. But if you are used to blocky cubes, then you will probably thrive with the V10 too. The V4 has the weakest magnets strength out of these 3, if that's what you prefer or are willing to experiment, it's a great option! By the way, I think the Rs3m v5 UV ballcore is suit both aggressive turning and it has blocky turning feel too!
Yo, should i get the Tornado v4 flagship, or the weilong v10 20 magnet ball core maglev uv? I really need help to decide on a new cube. My turning style is fast but semi accurate. I plan to use this cube for comps and my avg is 35
I’d say if you get a tornado, get the flagship; if you get the v10, get the spring ballcore UV I think spring cubes are better for you because they are usually more stable, which is better for you to learn good turning habits before you use a maglev cube which is usually faster.
yo I am looking for a cube to main and I am kind of aggressive and trying to get smoother turning but yeah my turns are aggressive and I am afraid the v10 breaks and if I get a tornado v4 I am not sure what will suit me better pioneer or flagship any recommendations?
Actually I think there are less reports about V10's quality issue anymore! Probably the newer batches have better quality control. What's your current main cube and do you like it? Do you prefer strong or weak magnets?
@ when I saw the v9 price it was more expensive then the v10 😂 and after checking some options the 3 biggest candidates were the weilong v10, rs3m v5, and the gan 12 (leap)(in my opinion maglev is too expensive) what do you think?
bro can you recommend me a good cube? The cube I'm using now is very tight and blocky. but my average is 15 second, I'm considering buying the rs3m v5. do you have any other recommendations?
I don't have the rs3m v5 but I heard that it's a great choice! Do you prefer stronger / weaker magnets? And do you prefer cubes with crazy corner-cutting?
I see, then I think any cube from this list would be a great upgrade Guhong Pro M 55mm spring RS3M V5 Ballcore UV Tornado V4 flagship Weilong V10 Ballcore (spring or maglev) Weilong V9 Ballcore (if you like VERY strong magnets and aggressive turning) Just keep in mind that the V10 and V4 take a lot of solves to break in in order to have good turning feel. Out of the box it's very different from when it hits its peak performance!
Yeah out of the box the V10 is so dry and sandy and uncontrollable. It gets better after a few hundred solves. My settings are: center distance 1, tension 2.
Actually, you can try center distance 2 and tension 2 as well. It makes the cube more blocky but I feel like I am turn more accurately with a slightly higher center distance (and I just broke my 7-month old PB with this setting)

Thanks for your comment! I don't have the Gan356 ml but I can try to compare the V4 and the V10! I think both cubes are stable, but in different ways. V10 is stable because its ball core is strong, and when it turns it feels like the cube isn't moving, only the layers are moving and snapping in place. V4 has weaker magents and ball core strength, but compared to V3 its stronger. It reduces some softness and smoothness of the V3 but the cube maintains its shape better than the v3 does, especially if you use level 4 or 5 corner edge magnets.
very nice video! my tv3 is about to break (superglue barely works), do you think i should get the tv4, weilong v10, or gan 12? (maybe even gan 15) i've tried a gan 12 on loose settings, and i like it a tad bit more than the tv3 my tv3 settings is 2-2-2, and im not really on a budget so price is negligible

Thanks! And good luck to your V3... If you like the Gan 12 on loose settings more than the TV3 at 2-2-2 then the weilong v10's center distance might be a bit too tight for your turning. But I've recently got my gan 12 and honestly it lock-ups in a more unpredictable way (like I lock up on the v10 when I don't turn accurately and it's predictable, but the gan 12 lockups don't make much sense to me). So if you've tried the gan 12 and you are fine with the catching issue then it's probably a good choice since you like looser cubes, and its corner magnets are adjustable which is sth that the V10 doesn't have. Or even gan 15 but I haven't tried it...I've seen both good and bad reviews on it. The v4 flagship is also a great choice if you enjoy the v3. It has upgraded in terms of stability with a slight trade-off in light turning and softness. The quality is also better. But like if you want a huge upgrade like with completely different turning feel then it's not really the case.
@@Throughpond I'm not sure if I have the same definition of 'blocky' as the other audience, but I think it means you can feel each turn snapping to its destination. And let's say you do a U' R U R', it feels like you can only do R after the U' turn is fully completed: like each turn only happens once the previous move is fully completed; as opposed to more flexible cubes, where you can feel the turns more continuously. The V9 is flexible + has VERY strong magnets + very good corner cutting. Cubers say its uncontrollable and its only true if they prefer light-and-accurate turning style.
