Hey babe, check out my last two shorts. I posted my cornrow routine. If you are doing 18 months I suggest redoing your braids every two months until you get accustomed to the washday and take down process and then move to 4 and if you can 6.

i did this style on myself a little while ago using all the methods and tips i could find on youtube but the style lasted like a day before the twists got puffy and unraveled with my real hair sticking out. some of the twists will even completly fall out of my head even tho i did them as tight as i could. i still love the style so maybe i'll try again but do you have any advice? ty!!
@@DeeBest I LOVE this statement because it EMPOWERS me and CHALLENGES me. You are so right it’s not for the weak. And I’ve been weak and that’s why I haven’t been taking care of it properly. But God gave me this type of hair because He doesn’t see me as weak. Being black requires more maintenance and maintenance isn’t a bad thing. It’s requiring more care over your temple.

I never wash my braids if they are in cornrows though. I’ve washed with mini braids though because it’s less likely to get matted.

Did you try the crochet method? That’s where you braid the hair in sections and crochet in the hair then you braid and twist
