Gantae first walks away from Moonyong on her love confession. The twist came when Gangtae chose to give her the same love confession she gave him, almost verbatim. It was a complicated love but an unforgettable one. It broke the mold of a stereotypical male and female romcom lead in a kdrama. One that embraces individuality and imperfections, which can become our biggest strengths. KSH said it best when he said IOTNBO is a healing drama.
It was my second K-drama after Boys Over Flowers. I was amazed how Kim Hyun Joong could player a younger guy in a Playful Kiss even though it was a year after BoF.
Atty. Kwon and Oh Yoon Seo's scene is something really simple and sweet. I'd say it's still realistic (Touch Your Heart). But Ko Mun Yeong's really something else. I wouldn't be surprised if it will be the new standard of confessions. (Though if my memory serves me right, Baifern Luevisadpaibul had a scene that's a lil bit close to that).
