That title doesn't exist anymore. 3) searched through all of the 'mysterious' and 'relaxed' moods to find nothing. 4) googled "observation 2'. Found "Observation 1" by Gunnar Johnsen. 5) searched through YT through a crap ton of music by Gunnar Johnsen. Nothing. 6) went through various Veritasium videos looking for that theme playing behind speech that wasn't too loud. 7) recorded part of the song. 8) uploaded that part to Audacity. Split it to mono and inverted half of it. 9) downloaded "Shazam." Played it for my phone until it found a title. 10) searched for that title here and OH MY GOD HERE IT IS 3 FKING HOUR LATER. I am nothing if not determined to find something that really resonates with me. Now to listen to this an unhealthy amount to times to make sure that emotion really drives home, and work on the scene in my novel this would be in the OST for. jfc.
I played it backwards, the instrument they use for that odd sound, is a xylophone, in reverse. So, in reverse it sounds right, but the other half is backwards, so it kinda sounds the same, but definitely different.
