Great video, slowing down makes all the difference, at least for me anyway. I started playing clawhammer last year (October '23) taking little bites at a time, learning as I go. I play for myself and don't get in any hurry. There are some songs I can play faster than others, but at 68 I just play for the enjoyment of it. A lot I have learned has been from your videos. Thank you very much!

Idk how I found myself here, but imma tell you this - Tip 5 is LEGIT, proved vital for me being a metal guitarist. After some good stretching I'd start slashing things like Holy Wars… intro or some Slayer riff even faster than they were written; half a minute is more than enough, on a bad day feels almost like a cheatcode for hand-eye coordination.
