    Josh, what an incredible video! Watching her recount that trauma...😞💔 What an amazing woman. The flow of this video was fantastic. Thank you for reminding us all how Katrina impacted so many who "quietly rebuilt."

    can't get enough of the interviews of locals and residents! It adds that touch and realism that ppl actually inhabit storm these storm prone locations and every single one has a unique story of survival! Great work as always! Also see your getting close to 60k!!!! well deserved great work Josh!

    Hello Josh, I appreciate all your time and work u put into your content...so what has been your absolute scariest experience and which storm was it? Thank you

    • @iCyclone
      @iCyclone  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks very much-- I really appreciate it. My scariest experience was Hurricane DORIAN in the Bahamas-- Cat 5 with sustained winds of 185 mph. I went right through the eye. The force of the winds was insane, the destruction was massive, and I was trapped there for days afterward. My complete video: th-cam.com/video/DV-PLJq4HD4/w-d-xo.html

    Josh,.. Commenting because it's your most recent video,. but,.. regarding something else; Your new home you're building (completed?). I may not be saying this after a hurricane has ripped through the area where your home is and your home survives intact, *but*,.. there's a significant design flaw with your home - you have massive eaves. Wind will certainly get under those and do all it can to lift the house/roof up. I sincerely hope that all your efforts to secure the home to the foundations are as good as can be.

    • @iCyclone
      @iCyclone  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a design flaw-- an aesthetic choice. A third-party engineer has inspected the house three times, and he's more than satisfied with the bracings, tiedowns, and reinforcements. When the house is completed, it will get a FORTIFIED Gold certification. But thanks.

    Are you flaming the house with OTHER than Pine? I know it would be expensive Water Oak/ Libe Oak I always wondered who and how many homes use Oak to Frame with?.

    "I'm going to be good except for the most massive and unusual storm surges." I have no doubt that's true, and you of all people would build a super hurricane resistant house. But I wonder if "massive and unusual storm surges" will no longer be so unusual. No disrespect to you, though, as this is an excellent and informative video. Bay St. Louis does seem like a great town.
