Don, you pointed out the Southfork Ranch sign, I don't know if it was broadcasted up where you are, but back starting in the late '70s and running through the '80s until '1991, the TV show "Dallas" (The Ewing Oil family, J.R Ewing, etc which starred Larry Hagman, Victoria Principle, Patrick Duffy etc) was an enormously popular primetime TV show in Texas and around the south. And Southfork Ranch which is just outside of Dallas was the show's setting for Ewing Family's home. The outside shots at the opening credits were filmed at Southfork. The ranch is a tourist attraction today. The entire first season of the show was filmed on location in a suburb of Dallas. The rest of the seasons, the interior scenes were filmed at MGM studios in California. Also, as you probably recognized, those were the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders in the video. And I noticed a few scenes shot in front of the Alamo as well. I saw Little Texas perform a few times in the past. They put on a great show and are very talented musicians. They had a song called "My Love" which was a number one hit for them.

We live about 10 min Southfork and they have weekly tours. It's still a working ranch and has multiple events there each year including The Cattleman's Ball

Dallas was a CBS network show. Broadcasted all over the USA. "Who Shot Jr?" one of the highest rated network shows in history.
