  • 21st July 2022 marked 10 years to the day since I began construction of the Worsley Dale Garden Railway. It's been a long hard road and it's still far from finished!
I had intended uploading a video on the exact day to mark the occasion but prior commitments along with an unusually hot spell of weather meant it wasn't possible to do so. Since then we have also taken ownership of a little Westie puppy whose demands mean there's been very little time to do anything.
Anyway, it's a bit late but I have managed to put together a short video featuring clips taken on 2 different days. Here's to another 10 years!

Well that my fix of 37`s and what a better way to mark your decade the double header is spot on a pleasure to watch as always.

Thanks again Rob. It's tempting to double-head everything but best just to add the odd ones now and again to liven things up.

Great to see your railway again and congratulations on the 10th anniversary. The 37's are Great.

Cheers Peter. Unfortunately I never seem to bring myself to run the layout all that often for various reasons. I do need to make a bigger effort to use it more often and to complete areas that await my attention.

Thank you! It's great to have a layout where 37s can be run exclusively and not appear out of place.

Those split box 37s and the regional railways 37 look amazing! Is that an aluminium billet load?

Thank you for your comments Richard - very much appreciated. Yes the loads are intended to represent aluminium ingots. From a distance they're not too bad and they add additional variety to the freight workings.
