Appreciate the kind words! Haha I’ve been fighting a battle to improve audio specifically since I started this channel so glad to hear others say it’s improving.
@@Realmspinner 👍👍 not everything needs to be cosmic. I’m tired of only having cosmic and grand world stakes SM stories. They’ve oversaturated them a lot recently. We need small scale again for comic book films.
Agreed! I think Spider-Man is at his least interesting when he's part of big events and most interesting when he's just in NY doing punchies with street to city-level villains.
I think SONY should think about, the variant of SpiderMan, from the (SPIDER-MAN: UNLIMITED) stories set. This version of SpiderMan was shown, in the (SPIDER-MAN: UNLIMITED) cartoon show. This variant of SpiderMan, exists within the Earth-751263 Realm, and he wears a special watch, that creates a nanotechnology suit. Plus to add this nanotechnology Spidey suit, has extra features in it, one is being able to make him invisible.
@@briandaleske5139 I loved this show as a kid. Underrated for sure. I think an Unlimited series would work best as a cartoon due to how expensive it’d be. Maybe it’d work best as a Spider-Verse spinoff. I think studios would be more likely to do Spider Man 2099 over Unlimited though just due to Miguel’s popularity, especially with Across the Spider-Verse.

I have no issues with spider-men that are different than 616 Peter. I like assassin spider-man, 2099, Kaine, Miles, Ultimate, 616 Peter when he was a tech CEO, the concept of the Other for an alt. version. 'Iron man Jr.' isn't inaccurate. His first two movies are highly focused on him idolizing and attempting to emulate Iron Man. However, that's not even my problem with the MCU rendition. I'm indifferent to it. My problem is that Holland's version is never his own character. He's always playing second fiddle (to Iron Man, then to Mysterio/Iron Man's specter, then to the other Spider-Men and their rogues' galleries). All three of his movies have him undergo an identical arc where he learns what it means to be Spider-Man. That's a lesson that was poignant for Homecoming, fine for Far From Home if a little repetitive, then tedious in No Way Home. That is why I think most people have a problem with Holland spider-man: we keep seeing him become spider-man, then revert back as soon as the next movie starts so he can relearn the same lesson.
@@briandaleske5139 I’d be 100% down to watch that. As long as they nix Pete’s connection to her. I’m fine with them being a duo, but don’t like them that much as a couple.
@@Realmspinner I imagine the variant of Peter Parker, in Cindy Moon’s realm is just her friend, and I imagine he later gains the Anti-Venom symbiote. @@darkamulet5768 Hmm u rite. Acolyte I think could be fixed with minor tweaks that have major ripples, so that actually might be a fix video in the near future. For She-Hulk I'll watch the first episode or two and see if it's a fix situation or a rewrite one. Or if it's a lost cause. I won't promise anything since I have a few ideas lined up already, but if I do hit it it'll definitely be this fall!
@@Realmspinner Don't worry, these are all thought experiments at the end of the day about what could have been. I mean, Madame Web is considered by many as one of those "films that should've never been made", even HISHE couldn't salvage it that much.
I think Tobeys Spiderman is a good Peter and spidey. He’s not quipping all the time but the strength feats are shown. Like I think we really forgetting he whooped all his ops. Andrew is also a pretty good Pete and spidey too. Andrew’s spidey shows you how good spider’s swinging should be. He even fights like a spider. The quips are present for sure in the tasm films. I respect Tom’s spidey but I can’t lie I feel like the mcu is holding his hand. You’re right he is iron boy jr for 5/6 appearances he makes. It’s a shame because in ultimate Spider-Man Peter is only like 15 and he was boxing with all of his enemies til the very end. He was also spidey for only like a year too which is crazy to think about. I understand the majority of the comic iterations will out class the movie versions but it would have been dope to see mcu spidey be more independent. This man’s enemies are other peoples villains. Vulture and mysterio were mad at stark and all of the villains in no way home were from tobey and Andrew’s rogues gallery. It’s a shame because we had a 6 movie origin story when we could’ve got a more faithful adaptation. I get that every iteration can’t be the same but it would be cool to see Tom looking lost during his fights. He gets cooked by the majority of the villians in his movies. No way home gives me hope that he could potentially become the best Spiderman in his upcoming appearances. Mcu spidey just has to mature a bit and lock in a little more during his fights. Also I didn’t bring up 616 spidey in the comparison argument against mcu spidey because his feats are the most cracked and he is the og. 616 spidey was barely in high school for his comic run so it’s unfair for me to compare mcu spidey to him because toms spidey is a teenager while 616 is usually depicted as a grown ass man.
For me Tobey-Spidey could quip a little more, BUT I fully understand why he didn't. His villains in particular are ruthlessly throwing hands from start to finish, so there's not really room. The part you mentioned about how MCU Spider-Man isn't independent is my biggest gripe with his characterization. You're 1000% right, none of his movies are actually his. Not even No Way Home, where he's overshadowed by other Spider-Men. I'm hoping he gets to actually lead his next movie and that it's more grounded, but I think they're gonna go with more multiverse shenanigans and we're gonna get more of the same. Also Ultimate Peter is probably my favorite Peter since he has the most cohesive story, evolution, and a great ending.
Hey, I was skeptical, but... I admit... great ideas, would love to watch that trilogy! 🔥🔥
