    Red and Ed.
It doesn't get much better than that.
They were great together in 'The Man in the Funny Suit'. Ed was great in 'Requiem for a Heavyweight', and his appearance on Twilight Zone. And who can forget The Mad Hatter, or Uncle Albert?
And I loved watching them on their own shows and other tv shows, and in their movies.
I saw this clip first-run, and it's still fun. Thanx so much for sharing!
Would love to see this full show, and any others of Red and/or Ed.
RIP, gentle men, and thanx so very very much for the magic, music, and memories.

There’s a man that works at my local hardware store that talks like Ed Wynn. I don’t think he is aware that he’s doing it, but it is very difficult not to laugh while in conversation with him.

Actually, this was originally telecast [in color] on February 15, 1966 (recorded on November 9, 1965), four months before Ed's death. This was his last TV appearance.

Red Skelton supposedly got his interest in show-business seeing Ed Wynn perform as a child. Fitting Ed should make an appearance on Red's show just before he died. Thanks for sharing.

And then Red Skelton encouraged and supported Jamie Farr to pursue an acting career, so consequently: without Ed Wynn there would be no Klinger.

@@michaelhewitt258 Yeah I knew that much. The electric toothbrushes caught me by surprise, because they are relatively small electrical devices. Would’ve thought them a late 70s or 80s invention. I dunno, I guess it’s the sort of thing I would have imagined come out like 30 years after the microwave, not the year of Castle Bravo and Godzilla.

These greats were COMEDIANS - not like the crap we have today - Jerry S, Conan, Stephen C, etc. What unfunny no talents they are. And they are NOT comedians.
