This was brilliant. Cadwell is such a great track. I rode my fluffy CB500 there from Cheshire did a track day and rode back. So much fun overtake the sports bikes in the corners
@Suggy Racing yeah I bet mate. Iv got my test for my race license on the first of April, and in the process of getting a cb as we speak, hoping to enter the Scottish championships this season
Yeah definitely, it does feel really good. Expensive modification, just wish I could use it all the time. I'll just have to make a dedicated track bike for them 🤣
Just found out Scottish riders are looking to adopt the thundersport regs for 2023 if our sacu will allow as been looking in to the no limits but their prices are unreasonable
Your bike looks mint! Try taking Coppice flat out in 6th. You’ll be surprised how fast you can take it. I used to drop to 5th on my CB, until I watched the Thundersport guys.

Been dreaming about getting a track bike for a little while. That CB500 looks mint see a lot of them on the track days I've been on, popular class. Great video mate enjoyed seeing you duff up some of the bigger bikes!
Hey, cheers for the comment. Yeah they are really good fun. I wish I bought one of these as my first bike. They are cheap enough to crash and fix. The bigger bikes get expensive quick. Yeah you can still give people a good run, you have to learn to carry the speed. Bit like a Moto 3 bike but slower 🤣 👍
CB500 is massive fun on track. It always makes me smile when I stuff the little bike up the inside of a superbike going into a corner. They're an absolute hoot!
Yeah they are. Definitely underestimated as a bike. I get sick of hearing 'oh they are too slow for me' 😂 I appreciate they aren't everyone's idea of fun, but let's face it, most people are cruising around on these big litre bikes 😁

Ha ha ha you're welcome 😂 Hope you enjoy it. Give it time with the CB to get used to them. I remember the first time I rode it, it felt crap. Just takes getting used to especially if you've had sport bikes. They are so much fun. I'm sure you'll love it. Which track you at?
@@SuggyRacing Only rode it around an industrial estate so far but she feels good, like going to back to a little two stroke in some ways! I'm very local to three sisters so going to do a few track days, get a feel then join Preston and District. Hope you keep the videos coming for more guidance!

If thundersport is no longer surly you won't be going by the thundersport regs I need to wait and see what we are going to be going by up here in Scotland for next year since no more thundersport as we used their rules as well
I've joined No Limits Racing for 2023 season. The regs for that are almost the same as Thundersport. They are allowing us to use different tyres of our choice (road legal only), we can use quick throttle, steering damper and a 520 pitch chain/sprocket. Unfortunately brakes and suspension must be standard 😏 If it was open for brakes and suspension, I would certainly use this set up. Who are you racing with?.
Hi pal, new subscriber. Loving the videos. Just getting into track days this year myself. Do you need to book with cadwell to stay overnight between the evening and day sessions ?
Hey. Cheers for subscribing, got another video to post from a race soon. No if you are just staying on track days, you can just put up a tent or sleep in the van. It's only when there's other events, like cars or other racing, where they are funny about you staying overnight.
@SuggyRacing thanks pal. Think I'll do that on some events next year, gives you more track time and get your eye in on the evening sessions ready for the next day.

absolutely mate, all that matters is feel with brakes and front end etc... The better you can feel the bike the faster you can go
