Hello... Can we run the Hang on back filter or canister filter on my aquarium for 24x7?? Because I'll be out of station for atleast 10 to 12 days... Will the motor burn? Please let me know
10 to 12 days is a very long time to run the filter continuously. It will get heated up. Even a normal light bulb will get heated up if kept on for so many days. So not a good idea.
just a opinion as per my experience instead of wooden cover you should have used hylam sheet to make cover as water splash while fishes feed or in winters when we use heaters vapors forms in the the cover and wood starts getting fungus and start getting bad…so i have used used hylum sheet in my 7ft tank.
Bt I wish y don't u remove or resell the other smaller tanks and build a 10 ft by 2.5 ft breadth and 2 ft height wala tank just in front of the 8 ft tank
Because then I won't be able to keep separate setups for oscar fish, goldfish, tetra fish, barb fish, cray fish and betta fish. Hope you've got it now.
