Why aren't there any horror movies based in Walmart? Like some dude comes running up to self help all panicked. "There's a blood trail leading from Grocery to isle 13!" There's a pause before the lady at the desk says. "But, Sir... There is no isle 13." *Scary music in background*
I one time saw a mother beating on her roughly 2-3 year old daughter. I am an ex teacher so any time I hear a kid crying I go into what my husband calls momma bird mode. I turned to see her boxing the kids ears, slapping her repeatedly and flicking her hard on her nose and this poor kid is cowering in fear, bright red and scream crying. I am normally very anxious and don't like people staring at me but I was so livid I started to scream at this woman, scaring the shit out of her. I was chasing her yelling like a crazy person asking her what she was doing and how she could beat on a child like that. She ran like I was gonna kill her. In all honesty I was gonna. If it wasn't for my husband holding me back I (note I am disabled) was gonna rip this woman to shreds. I went to a security guard to try to find the woman and he looked at me like I was crazy. I swear if I had seen that woman again in the store I would have beaten her with a rolling pin or something. My hubby sure kept a close eye on me the whole time I was in the store. I was still so upset about it to the point of tears an hour later when we were home. I can not even remotely stand someone harming a child!
Maybe he did something REALLY BAD, I doubt you need to discipline a child like that but maybe he is very reluctant, still glad you intervened, at least not in public.
As a Canadian, I'm more creeped out by people being allowed to carry guns in Wal-mart. I know she (2nd story) wanted to take it for safety, but that just seems like a horrible idea. o_o

one time i was at walmart and i was sitting on one of those random benches they have right next to the frozen stuff. i was sitting there reading a magazine or something when i heard someone yelling. i looked down the aisle and saw a guy with his hands around her neck trying to choke her. at first i thought it was some kind of social experiment or something until i saw the sheer panic and fear on her face as she struggled to breath. after a few seconds the guy lets her go and hits her a few times before taking off. i was only 10 at the time, so all i did was run to my parents and tell them what happened. they thought i was kidding and went on shopping. i saw the lady leave a few minutes later, but i never saw the man leave. that was some crazy shit.

He then started following me through. Into the line and out the door and walked to his truck while I walked to my moms. He did this several times until he overheard my brother and I talking about conceal carrying more often. I made sure for that reason alone to bring it up because he kept really far after that.

I nodded and told her that I felt like 6-7 was a good age to let kids go into the bathroom by themselves. She shook her head and proceeded to tell me about her grandson who was 7 his mother had let him go into the bathroom by himself and after about 10 minutes she started to get nervous she pushed the bathroom door open and a man came running out of the bathroom, when she went into the bathroom she found her son laying on the floor the man had cut his throat. I got a lump in my throat and quietly offered my condolences to the lady. I decided I would not let my son go into the bathroom by himself until I was confident that he could defend himself. It still makes me nervous to this day. Especially since I've had my son.

Ohhhh this brings back warm, fussy memories of my time working for wal-mart. This actual reminds me of story that happened at the wal-mart I was working at years ago. It’s not much of a story and no where near as fucked up as these three stories but it’s still pretty crazy and a bit funny too.

We were deep by the auto parts and fishing section, when a man with a rough beard and tatted sleeves apparently began to follow us around. At the time I was unaware until my mom told me that we we're leaving now. When we got to the car and away from the store and people, I asked my sister why she seemed pale and spooked. She told me that the man would gesture to my mom and sister and repeat the word "pretty" to himself. He would've probably kept on insisting if my dad hadn't came by them, making it apparent to the creep that my mom and sister weren't alone. Was pretty eerie experience, and now I think that's we go to Target now instead.
I've had some stuff happen to me at Walmart. One involved me at the checkout, back when I was living with my mom and before she met her ex-boyfriend. I got this guy's Oreos mixed up with mine and he said, "Want a cookie?" I was oblivious and my mom got me out of there quickly as she noticed the guy was following us home. We lost him or something like that.

I've had some stuff happen to me at Walmart. One involved me at the checkout, back when I was living with my mom and before she met her ex-boyfriend. I got this guy's Oreos mixed up with mine and he said, "Want a cookie?" I was oblivious and my mom got me out of there quickly as she noticed the guy was following us home. We lost him or something like that.
as an ex walmart worker I can confirm crazy/weird shit happens especially during the night.
