Hy Chris, amazing footage.... the cichlids present in the Lake are Flowerhorns/Lohan (Amphilophus hybrid) and not C. managuense. And they are everywhere!!!
I do not know English (I use a translator) and it is difficult to understand the inscriptions in the video. It would be better if under the video there was a list with Latin names of fish and aquatic plants, as well as water parameters!
Beautiful !.....But, and this is a big BUTT.....you should remove the captions till you can get a specialist to identify the species. i stopped the video when i saw "cichlasoma managuense", which resides in Lake Managua of Nicaragua, you-know the one - it's in Central America ? {Not a species that is easy to mistake unless your legally blind.}
That is exactly what happened in the last years and now some of the endemic shrimp and possibly also fish species seem to be extinct. A great example of how introduced species destroy entire ecosystems...
Beautiful! It's like paradise
Loving the recent videos, keep it up💯🤞

Flowerhorns are hybrid cichlids, which mean they dont occur in nature
@@kmybitptys they are introduced...
@@fullcircle1599 no, they are most likely Texas cichilds
@@Y0oisaac I have seen these fish in person, they are not texas cichlids.

It's invasive and introduced, do your homework before commenting
What are those central american cichlids doing in there??? Cichlasoma Managuense will eat all the shrimps and small endemic fishes of the lake!!!
