That’s great Justus is in ps. I homeschool and am a big fan of it, but I never say always. I think it is so wise to consider your children as individuals. It doesn’t have to look the same for each one. I don’t see much benefits in ps for elementary years, but in the high school years I do think some children will thrive in ps and some benefit from being home. So proud of you Tom for keeping an open mind. I bet Justus will do great! I loved his smile when you were bragging about him!

Congratulations Justice, That is a big change and a brave move. I think you will love it. Maybe if you have a positive experience maybe some of the other children will try it, Which I am sure will make Dad's life easier.

There's so much inappropriate stuff taught to kids in school even at young ages better to keep lil ones home
You need some lettuce and tomatoes, onions, refried beans, we also put catsup on ours instead of taco sauce.
It is great that Justus is in public school and also that Thomas has his own apartment. The best part is they have a Dad who supports them 100%. Asher is learning a great skill by working with you and it will be interesting to see the direction Judah will go in, but for now part-time work at the grocery store is perfect for him. Eden has gotten so quiet on camera. She has turned into a beautiful young lady. Not to leave out the little ones, who have grown so quickly from when I first started watching! Cute as ever.
Could Solomon do an accelerated program at public school where his academics could be supported more in the classroom with teachers specialised in those areas. He is a very smart young fellow with great potential
Pick your Battles and Public school is a great to gauge how you are doing as teacher and how well he do alone. Test runs are always good and if it doesn't work Homes school is right here still.
The cheese dish you are talking about is “Queso Fundido” aka flamed cheese its made with asadero cheese!:) also try seasoning the meat with some fajita seasoning!! Its so good!! You can add chorizo which will make it a little spicy but DELICIOUS! Heat up some corn tortillas on the stove and it’s incredible!!! From a current El Pasoan born and raised!

Tom I was a home schooler for most of my life until I talked my parents into letting me go to public high school. I was extremely worried I would struggle, but excelled. My daughter went to a private school up through 6th grade. We moved across the country and decided to home school her for 7th and 8th grade. I was extremely worried how she would do. 9th grade went well enough she was placed in honors classes for 10th. The lady in our county who handles all home schoolers, including those who transition into private or public, said they LOVE getting home schoolers in the schools because they tend to excel academically and in attitude.
One of his teachers made a comment that they were worried the other kids were going to rub off and taint him, because he is so good! lol
@@TheMillsFamilyVlog it's a fair concern. For me and my daughter it was a cultural shock. Last year she came home daily for a month telling me things that happened I nor her private school teachers would have ever allowed.
I know some home schoolers don't handle public school well in the long term, but in my personal experience they're the exception. Actually, I can only think of one. It helps that your kids have a foundation in the Bible.
Remind Justus he's there to be a light, not a sponge. 😊

Just missed y’all. Hope your tacos were as tasty as mine. I made plenty and shared with a good friend and her husband that now have a little one in heaven. I’d love it if everyone prayed for her & her husband & their families. They were so excited to meet her in a few months but He has a plan.

I don't know if you will get this but you need to serve shredded lettuce and grape tomatoes, sour cream and cheese with your taco night, just meat chips and tortillas isn't right, they need greens into their diet.

I guess your family doesn’t like crunchy taco 🌮. Get the big kids to get dinner ready so when you get home you can sit down for a bit and relax and they can put the dinner on the table for all to enjoy. That’s great for Justin to take the step to try public school. He gets to experience a new away of school and lots of new friends and learns lots of social skills which is good. You (and Andrea) did a good job raising your kid. 🙏🏻❤️
It was just a thought about going to a technical school to learn everything new that is always coming out for computers. I know you live in a small community but if Asher moves away to a more populated area he will need to keep up and know lots of computer technology. I was just something to think about ❤️❤️

Haha they do! Judah likes to have fun. With the Myers Briggs personality stuff, it doesn't quite to mean the same thing. Jung was the one who invented the term and it has kind of changed into something else now. Both types may have lots of fun with people, but isn't what "powers them up." Think of it this way, after a long night of hanging out with friends is over, an extrovert is happy, energized and relaxed. An introvert feels tired and drained. When an extrovert wants to relax, he wants to be around people...when an introvert wants to relax, they don't want to be around people, even though both types may enjoy it.
Claudia very well may be an extrovert, she is still a little young to type well.

I hope Justus has a great time in High School! Will he join any clubs it’s a great way to make friends! They put in a bottom permanent retainer after I got my braces off and it messed up one of my teeth pulled it far over so had to get the retainer out and didn’t want to have to get braces again to fix it but now it’s giving me some gum problems. So keep an eye on his teeth if he gets a permanent retainer! That’s great that asher is helping with your business!

Public school was torture for me and most people I know, but everyone is different and I hope Justus likes it.

I make my meat with Cumin and Chili Powder after it’s all cooked though, also if add some water it makes it not so dry also. You don’t use Refried Beans? Down here in Texas it’s almost a mainstay in every meal. 🤣 Congratulations to Justice on going to public school.
I remember the last meal you had in the freezer was a lasagne Andrea had made.

Cotija, maybe? Look up queso fundido recipes and I’m sure it will trigger some memories. We love getting queso fundido, but not everywhere makes it the same.
Solly is a growing young boy. Lol He is the only one still eating. I had four sons and it amazed me the quantity of food they could eat. SMH If only I could go back to those days.
Is Asher done with high school? If he is done with school maybe he should take computer classes at a technical school or college classes to learn all about computers inside and out and all new programs because computers change sooo quickly. My youngest son works IT, he started in the Marines and when he finished the Marines he went back to college to learn all he could about computers.
I got my bachelors, and I wish I had just saved my money now. I am confident I will be able to teach him everything he needs to know :)

I had braces 2 1/2 yrs got them off 5 yrs later my retainer fell out one night and got broken and I could not replace it. Now you can notice tell Lever had braces my teeth are as crooked if not worse than before.
Every tooth on the bottom row in front overlap with no room in between them.
