Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ Engine Start Up, Accelerations, SOUNDS @ Goodwood Festival of Speed

During the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, I have filmed this amazing Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ accelerating up the hill climb. Behind the steering wheel is Bugatti test driver Andy Wallace, who did a top speed run in this car of 304.77 mph... that’s almost 500 km/h! Enjoy the video!

I've noticed the Super sport 300+ that went 300mph in the record video (it's the same one shown here) is actually different than the 300+ they are selling. It's front horse shoe tappers at the bottom compared the actual version that went 300+ where it's squared off and wider, also it's more of a slammed look.

There is the Bugatti Chiron super sport and then there’s the Bugatti Chiron SS 300+

@@fkajstn Yes but the "Bugatti Chiron SS 300+" they are selling like the one in the video "Qatar Royal Family member..." (Bugatti only made 30) doesn't look like the one in this video that actually went 300+.. So there's like 3 versions of the SS and this visually just looks the best cause of the aggressive horse shoe that doesn't even look like a horse shoe no more 🥴

It is a pre-production version meaning the cosmetics was subject to changes. It seems the engineers realized the squared shaped horseshoe has no impact in performance during the testing they likely decide to keep the rounded shape.

So far this car is the only car to have gone over 300 m/h. It wont be too long before others are going to do the same and a lot more! (Hennesy Venom F5, Ssc Tuatara and Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut). One of them is going to be the future speed king, but until then, this Bugatti is the king......

But Bugatti say´s they are not competing any more so it is up to the others to take the titel.

@@majorpain3293 I dont know with that setup. If you look at the video, it does not accelerate beyond 284 m/h, even though the terrain is slightly downhill. It hits the revlimiter. With a different gearing I suppose it could. But it had also broken the 0-400-0 km/h record the same day, and that could not be done with a gearing that allowed it to go +284 m/h.

@@perhentzepetersen9310 Bugatti saying they are not competing in Top Speed anymore, was before RIMAC takeover!! Also Chiron came out in 2016 !!
By 2024 will be delivery of Bugatti Bolide (rumor is some road legal)!!
Also by 23/24 it's gonna be unveil of Chiron (Hybrid) successor, with new engine!!
According to Mate Rimac, Nevera is capable of 500+ km/h !!! "Only" problem might be tyres!
