I disagree with her comment regarding empowerment....but I get it...it's for populism/ TV/ media....does it mean that empowering boy child automatically comes at the cost of disempowering the girl child and vice versa. Some one comment logically and honestly please: Can't both be empowered to achieve good balance? Also, the new borns/ youth are a new generation....so how have they been empowered/ disempowered? Was it before they were born?
If what you saying's correct, then being 'a victim of that' is better than being a victim of promiscuity. Because with the latter, you can't reverse the positive and negative consequences that comes along with it, even if you'd wish you had done things differently. Whereas being a ''victim'' of singleness, does'nt make anyone miss out on anything. The time to explore things when one feels ready to do so never runs out.
What a stupid comment. Its a CHOICE to be single. When you have many options but would rather be alone is so powerful. Men don't like to hear that. Not wanting male distraction is very smart. Majority of men come with bullshit. By the time women realise it they are older, heavier (after having his kids) broke, setback in life, mental health struggles after male lying, cheating etc etc. These days the appeal of having a man is declining drastically. Ndavi is setting a path for herself, she is setting herself up for life. No man can do for her what she is doing for herself.
