Dutch trip - From Ermelo to Hierden (Standard - Original sound)

Join me on a scenic bicycle ride from Ermelo to Castle De Essenburgh next to Hierden village, passing through the picturesque Leuvenumse Forest and heathlands 'Het Cyriasische Veld'. Our final destination, 'De Essenburgh', is a castle-estate in the municipality of Harderwijk, situated between the villages of Hierden and Hulshorst. The facade stone mentions the year 1652. The builder is Johan Coolwagen, who built it as a status symbol to secure a place within the Knighthood of Veluwe.
