Things I care about are how does the game play? How is the multiplayer? Can I control the hosting or is it all at their whim? Do the cars handle like real cars or is it too hard to drive? Too easy? Is the lag between players bad or minimal? I don't care about how pretty the graphics are or did they catch the stitching on the leather seats right? I don't care. Is this going to be another highly modded game like the original or no mods? Don't tell me about the reflections in the paint. I don't care. Until they release it and everyone is either happy or deleting the game after a week... That tells me what I need to know.
Mods? Is this exclusively a PC game channel? I can’t access mods on PS4/PS5. The modern GT3 class is well represented in this game. EVERYTHING else is hit and miss. Mostly miss. Almost the entire car inventory that is not modern GT3 consists of one offs. I love the idea of including iconic cars from years past. The fact that AC only provides one or two cars from a particular class/era is a head scratcher. Having ONE car from a particular class/ era is great if all you want to do is parade laps. What are you going to race it against? Instead of concentrating on filling the holes in the car inventory and adding circuits from places other than Europe we get open world. WTF? What are people going to do in this open world? Drive around and occasionally stop for gas? I give it a week after launch before players will be crying for “open world missions” That will be the beginning of the end of a great racing sim.
they've already mentioned that more cars will come with time, the reason gt3 cars are the most common is because of ACC and modding will work like it does on reforger where it has its own built in workshop with mods that... Sadly you might need to buy to use.... I do agree they while amazing their focus seems to lie in more of hype building and I'm also worried that even tho all of this is promising they are going way to broad and might get burned
