I think part of it too is interviewing has advanced and relaxed a lot since then. Back then there was super production and high pressure as opposed to something chill like this.

Nah man... franchise players in the NBA are held at a significantly higher regard than other entertainers. Maybe with the exception of A-list movie stars.
I literally wondered if Nas still believed that hip hop was dead in 2019, and I expected him to answer in a similar fashion, mentioning artists like J Cole and Kendrick carrying the torch. I am somewhat surprised that he mentioned Drake considering how commercial his music is yet he does have his moments.
There are only a select few of hosts that conduct great interviews that I really enjoy, that arent totally clueless to the guest & their craft: Bill Simmons, Sway, Trevor Noah, Inside the NBA cast & TED stuff.
KD acted like a clown smh.. Like he ain't even wanna be there . Uptight for no reason... Nas is super laid back n even he was more interesting to listen to than KD
Nas has looked the same for the last 30 years

I like how Nas has loosened up these days. More open relaxed statesmen. He used to be so closed off in interviews. Dope to watch.
