    Always learning something new with your videos. That upward compression will come in handy! I know you focus more on sound design but really do wish you would go a bit more into music theory though like that piano melody and why it works like first 4 bars he uses A-B-A-B and next 4 bars A-B-A-C

    Hi! First of all, a huge thank you for your work. I have a question: how is it possible that you can make these arrangements with only a bunch of tracks when I hear of producers working with 20 to 60 tracks for a single song? (I'm new to production)

    • @BeatAcademy
      @BeatAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It is all about finding the right sounds. and even though its not 100% exact consider that the vocals and all the effects used on the vocals add a big part of the over all sound as well as the mixing and mastering part as well. more info on the site

      Some producers layer a ton of synths and samples to create some sounds.
      Those that are better at sound design make those sounds with just one or two synths.

    • @redi6460
      @redi6460 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's called layering different sounds, no sound is alone it's always layered with something else. Even snares have layers.

      @user-go4kx4ii8k 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the answers guys!
      I would like to know why the number of tracks augments in the mixing part. For what I know, it's in the producing and arranging part that you add instruments(thus you add tracks), stuff and automation, while in mixing you just adjust parameters, equalize, compress ecc. the tracks in order to make everything sound nicer togheter. Where does the need of other tracks during mixing come from?
