*Thank you for showing the warmth, kindness and generosity of the Lebanese people to your viewers, Harry. I wish you had the time to visit some historic landmarks of Tripoli, like the Citadel of Saint Gilles (built in 1103). Hopefully on your next visit you can do it with Mac. You must also visit the few tiny islands off the coast of Tripoli, with its crystal clear Mediterranean waters. One final note, you can always try the Lebanese desserts without adding way too much syrup (like Fouad did). Sometimes you can actually enjoy them without the sugary syrup at all (like I mostly do), because they are sweet on their own. Of course, it is a matter of personal taste and preference in the end.*

Harry, this is a breather after a long day at work. The incredibly kind and generous people of Lebanon. It's wonderful that even the vendor of excellent bread could sense the beauty of your soul. I'm glad you visited Lebanon.

You are so lovely and so heartwarming when you both sing together, you are the best choir at all!
Fouad has a natural sense of funny and is very suitable as a tour guide. I believe traveling with him will not be boring!
That copper factory looks very old, and it is rare to be able to maintain handmade copper utensils!
Tripoli is a great place to visit, the people are very friendly! That dessert shop is a paradise for me, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍🤩👊

Harry, I first spotted you on one of Mac's videos. I then started watching your posts and have gone back and caught several from the Philippines. Your warm spirit and kind heart that shows when you interact with others, especially locals, is endearing and it brings out the best in everyone. Keep up the good work.

really glad that you came back so soon, and i have a feeling that it's the same for you, hope you enjoyed the tour but you still haven't scratched the tip of the iceberg yet, just above where you saw the copper workshop was the tripoli fortress which gives you a great view over the city, and going to the port side of the city, there is a very famous fish restaurant called "Abou Fadi" which has some of the best hot spicy fish that you'll have, and you should see the pottery workshops, and traditional glass making, tripoli isn't the second biggest city in tripoli for nothing but sadly it is really neglected and has an unjustly bad reputation, and as you have seen the people here are really welcoming and you are allways welcome anytime of the year. hope you come back soon.

20 USD for that ring is just about right i think Harry. Plus it looks really nice.
Harry, you really love food. You want to eat soap too, hehe. Kidding... Kunefe and everything else looked amazing and i'm sure tastes as good as they look. And all the shops look really nice...
I wish there was someone here in Manila like Fouad who can guide you too Harry. But i am trying my best to be a Fouad to you through my suggestions at least, hehe.
Btw Harry, these are the schedules for the outdoor food markets here:
MOA by the Bay - Wednesdays to Sundays, 3pm-10pm.
BGC - Thursdays to Sundays, 3pm-9pm.
Salcedo Village, Makati - Saturdays 7am-2pm
Legazpi Village, Makati - Sundays 7am-2pm
Eastwood City - Thursdays to Sundays, 3pm-9pm
You can also try Market! Market! in BGC with their indoor food court. It's open everyday. Lots of Filipino food there too.
Traditional Filipino snacks you should try that you haven't yet tried:
    LUMPIA - fried spring roll.
Fresh LUMPIANG UBOD (you need to eat this with all the sweet sauce if its given separately. Otherwise, it will taste a bit bland.)
TURON - fried banana and jackfruit spring roll.
    Pansits (noodle dishes):
PANSIT PALABOK (Jollibee has this too.)
PANSIT BIHON (said to be a favorite of Barrack Obama when he was in the White House, cooked by a Filipino chef there.)
    BATCHOY - must try.
If you see a shop with Kakanins, i suggest to try them too. Kakanins are the native snacks from the olden days. There are many kinds but i think you'll like BIBINGKA (a streamed pastry), BIBINGKANG MALAGKIT (made of glutinous rice with caramelized coconut on top), and CASSAVA CAKE.
    :)

I am glad you made it again to Tripoli. The residents are the nicest and most hospitable people you will ever meet, although they are the poorest on the Mediterranean coast. Its a shame Tripoli has 3 of the most richest Arab billionaires, and the area is so neglected. Thank you for not taking your change from Tripoli sellers, but I think the 1 soap for $5 was a bit high. Knefeh (usually eaten for breakfast) and madd are my favorite Lebanese sweets. Al-Halab is one of the best sweet shops in Lebanon. Like someone said you missed visiting the huge Crusader citadel and the Ottoman baths. Fuad is a great companion/friend and an asset in translating for foreigners. Hoping to see more trips in Lebanon especially Brummana and Saida (Sidon).

Dude, you have missed lot of things to do in Tripoli...
is this video just for food? i mean is there any other video for the historical monuments and landmarks?
if it is just for food, you missed the best part: the Tripoli traditional breakfast (hummus and the family) at Akra, the best kafta pie or meat pie you will ever had in your life, and the slushy lemonade icy juice (not the one you tried, it is a different one) i had a couple from California today and they tried it, they were amazed.
for the monuments and landmarks you have missed lot of things:
    the biggest castle in lebanon
the Great mansouri Mosque (the biggest mamlouk mosque in lebanon)
St Georges orthodox Cathedral (the biggest cathedral in north lebanon)
St Younes Church (the smalles church in the world, it was built in 1317)
Khayyatin Khan (the only rectangular shape khan, it is built during the byzantine era)
the egyptian khan (it has the star of David)
Ezzedin Hammam (a traditional pubic bath built in earlier 1300's)
Abed Hammam (the only functional public bath in tripoli) built in the 1700's
Burtasi mosque (one of the most beautiful mosques in Lebanon built in 1302)
and lot of historical alleys and schools and the 7 laws of tripoli during the mamlouk time carved on the wall under the judge's house
alot to see and you missed...
