I would not buy these boxes knowing how old they were nor do I think I would risk any boxes from them after finding this out with you you’re very good at letting us know the full truth and unfortunately you know spending your own money defined out the said truths
I ordered these as well and mine came today! I got boxes from this spring and summer! I got some really great products inside like glow recipe,Natasha denona,Dominique cosmetics,Murad ect! I was actually surprised about the products I got
They have boxes from 2 years ago but I guarantee that 2 years ago anyone whose product was missing or broken was told they were out of stock. You would think after 2 years they would have already found a way to use the products. Thanks for sharing.
As a matter of fact I didn't get two of my boxes, tried to get them to replace them and of course like you said out of stock!! Yes it was darn near two years but still they suck
my mystery boxes are in the mail, arriving soon .... wonder if I'll get the same two .... that last palette looks like fun and excited to try the primer you so highly recommend
Hey Sidney 👋 I agree sister about the expiration date I learned that when I had to toss out some products Kypris, Farmacy, and one other. I went through my collection and put them in a order so I use older stuff 1st and get use out of my products. Thanks for sharing Sidney
Yeah I like to get those boxes for that price I believe that too much of a stink was made over these boxes. Any store liquidates their back stock for cheap that's just the way it works.
The Alamar primer is more of a glitter glue primer, so you need only the tiniest amount! You can mix it with a concealer to make it more of a traditional primer. The INT lip oil is actually really nice and gives the slightest tint. I used mine up completely. The primer and the volition serum are also really nice items. I think these boxes would be great for someone that is new to Boxy. I already have all of this stuff!
The consumer shouldn't have to though-these beauty companies claim to be vegan and cruelty free and can't even put an expire date on their products! And Boxy sells them!
I'm ok with older products as long as I'm aware that it's a possibility to get them. It would be better if they were at least 6 months away from their expiration date.
I love my Allure box too. I had a 5 hour doctor's appointment on November 23rd and looked up Allure member store...omgolly...I got my 111skin rose color serum...15.00.bucks!!!.sells for 135.00. And a UBeauty retinol serum..15 as well...best doctor appointment ever..got others as well. I've never tried boxy harm and I think I'll pass.
I'm very surprised that they did a Live program on these boxes...I missed them. AR first I thought "RATS" but after your unboxing...just as well. I really appreciate your honesty and you still don't bash the company...very respectful. And I will try that eye primer...if you like it...then must be good. I don't do bright colors on eyes...you look beautiful tonight , darling...I must say..but I could not pull off the colors..I'm a bit older. thanks again , Sydney...hve great night!!

I think I'm getting at least the Elemis product which I really actually would want. When I ordered I got this listing: Kate Sommerville, Tarte, Farmacy, & Natasha Denona I have a feeling it will be the KS Goat Milk Cleanser, one of the mini ND eyeshadow palettes, and the Elemis SuperFood serum. All in all not bad for $24 since I figured I would put stuff on Ebay anyway. Definitely will put up the ND and KS. No clue on what the Tarte item is. I've watched the reveals and haven't seen it yet.
My boxes weren't old but I received boxes from the same month just different variations. I ended up with almost duplicate boxes. Would prefer to have 2 different months so I could have a better variety.
I wanted to buy these so badly but I was able to resist. I am super glad that I didn’t because I am already mad because they sent me TONS of broken and spoiled products in my November drop shop orders. Liquid lipstick that smells literally like fish. Eyebrow pencils too dry to use. Free samples listed as the full size product. They still have not refunded me and they actually did not send some of the things I ordered. In one of my boxes I got this weird assortment of random used hair products. Like wtf, how disgusting. None of them were things that I had ordered either.
Ok, that does make me nervous 😳 as I just bought alot of things from the drop shop to give as every day kind of gifts. I'll have to do a thorough look before I give as gifts. Mrrrrr
I do not like the Beauty Crop/Shop eye primer neither. I just know the pink container. I’ve tried to like it and I just simply don’t. I think I’d be ok with these boxes for the price. I get what you’re saying. Like you said…just expect it.
I don't understand why they don't just split up unsold boxes and sell individual items in the store. I remember getting both of these boxes when I first signed up in 2020. I would have bought that Volition serum again and again because I loved it so much, but it showed as sold out!
I got some boxes with 2 of each product inside, I wasn’t sure if it was a mistaken shipment or they got my order wrong- but I know I didn’t order them myself… was there any deal or mystery boxes like that? I’ll have to go check the Reddit board, after watching ur vid I’m thinking 🤔 maybe I bought a mystery bundle and they totally screwed me over with 2 of the same body oils, & 2 lip masks, etc…
Not only do I check expiration dates but also where it was made if it says! I learned some of these boxes use products made in China not safe for your skin or what's in the original product. 🤔
I’m excited for these boxes because I’m new to makeup subscription boxes . So for me it’s a win. But….. I would be disappointed if I received these boxes already. I think 24 bucks for all these products is a real bargain. So I think it’s good .
nothing is going to happen to any of those powder products just because there's a date on the pack. Close them as normal when you use them & they're not going to get wet or spoiled.
I decided that this was such a good deal and I decided to get two orders so I got four boxes. And they were all the same. Couldn’t believe it. Never again.

The rare beauty eyeshadow primer is great! I use it sometimes by itself for a no make up look. I’m on the fence with Boxycharm I think that products with expropriation less than 2 years should be thrown out….ONLY 3 months to use the banana powder 😟😠 is ridiculous!! I canceled my subscription, just for a little bit, because I’m tired of the same stuff… ever since Ipsy took over it’s been a lot of downs…. I know they can create a profit and loss and claim money back on said expired products on taxes. I kinda feel some greed and or need to pinch ever penny out of us…. I WILL say GREAT bang for your buck…. Especially if you are new to boxy/Ipsy…
2 years isn't that old in makeup. None were expired. Stores have stock on shelves the same. I think you made too big a deal out of it. I order 2 Premium Boxes for $40. Waiting to get them. Can't beat the deal.
Hey..so I believe it depends on what the makeup or skincare is made of to determine if it’s unsafe to use after expiration date…So maybe she knows what ingredients aren’t safe after date..So I think it’s ok to put that out there for educational purposes…
Not good consumer relations from Boxy. Very deceptive and cheap to do that to members especially on a black friday sale and sending them old stuff from TWO years ago or nearly expired items. What a rip. You were very gallant about it-I wouldn't be. And, you can't return it-and they know this. They are losing their members by the dozens with these new companies coming out with much better boxes-fresher-innovative-newly released-for cheaper.
I think the boxy and ipsy mysterys are terrible. I dont know how you do it. Oh heck no. Ipsy used to be good but I always feel like I didnt even get my money back. I dont like that elemis product. I have a few. I dont like eloise anything. I think ALL skincare and makeup should have a made on date. They give out like 5 yr old products. So does ipsy because of boxy. I dont like beauty bakerie. I dont like that artist couture. I dont think its cool that they use past products that were never good or exciting to begin with in their mystery boxes. The banana powder is good. I dont use loose powder so I love that one and the ciate watermelon. The viseart eye primer is good. You NEED the p.louise budget box. Mystery every month. I cant stand the beauty crop primer. They give out sign up gifts we got 4-5 years ago. If you have too much inventory put it for $3 in the sales before it gets old. I got the milk mascara years ago. I like the alamar primer, works well for pigment, shimmer. The inc is dollar store quality seriously. The mushroom serum is good but not in normal packaging. I sold mine on ebay. They complained saying it was a knockoff. Nowhere on volitions site did they have that packaging. The queen palette... colors were nice
Yes! They just send old boxes that didn’t sell! If you order multiple boxes, you may get the same boxes! It’s terrible they do not tell you that! IT’s represented as a new mix of surprises!

I know!!! So many people are told that they are out of stock, but the items showed up on the sales or website. Its very confusing.

Nobody needs to worry about the dates - the only things you're missing out on are the coupons but you're also getting a big discount.
