fished this weekend there. it was too much sun, plus summer is worst for fishing, ,lots of plankton and kelp so fish arent too hungry or near the shore. but anywhere at pv is a nice fishing spot, this spot didnt work for me, but i found a different spot, where I caught at least 2 opal eyes, thankful i caught something.. everyone else was not catching much at all.. its the tide and seasonal conditions, but anywhere along those cliffs, or beaches is a nice spot to check out and explore.. cant wait to go again
david avalos best thing to do before you head out to fish here is to check how high or low the tide is going to be. You want to show up when the tide is starting to go down... be careful because it’s very slippery. You will have like 6 good hours of fishing before you have to leave because the tide is going to start going up again. If you stay there too long, you will end up being stuck because it’s dangerous to go back.

On that spot, I've caught, rock fish, cabezons, small white seabass, calicoes and sandbags. It all depends what you are fishing for.
