How do you celebrate christmas? Or how it is typically celebrated in your country? 🎁
Did you know about how a lot of Germans celebrate christmas or has it been a surprise? 🎄
Would love to read your comments 😊

I love your cheeks so much ☺️💖 your smile is as relaxing as your voice.
Christmas where I am (Canada) mostly involves spending time with loved ones, a big dinner with turkey on the 25th, and gifts for kids. Very generic American Christmas vibes ❤️💚❤️💚❤️

I love these videos where you talk about German life. There is a really unique Christmas market in Esslingen in Baden-Württenburg. It’s very dark and medieval; there’s even a public hot bath in a wooden tub! The Christmas season is my favorite time to visit my German family. Hope you are staying warm!

I spent many years living in New Orleans, Louisiana here in the US. My husband is Cajun French, which is a special group of people native to South Louisiana. People in the communities along the Mississippi River build very ornate wooden structures shaped like animals, buildings, shapes on the levee of the River. On Christmas Eve, 24 December, they light the structures on fire creating bonfires on the levee. It’s a spectacular sight to see! This is all done to light the way for Papa Noel (the Cajun Santa Claus) so he can deliver gifts to the children. It’s a wonderful tradition in South Louisiana!

Your videos are such a gift, thank you so much. I literally get so excited when you post a new one lol. Merry Christmas to you!
Here in my home in the US, we celebrate a traditional (and non-traditional) Italian Christmas. Family and friends gather and we eat fish, pasta dishes, sweets and charcuterie, and drink home made Limoncello. After guests go home, we open one gift on Christmas Eve. My grandsons open their stockings, and it's off to bed! Then we wait for Santa to come.

Marie... I really don´t know what to say... such a kind comment. I am just happy, that I make you feel this way. I really hope that you and your loved ones are going to have a wonderful christmas. The mix of a traditional and non-traditional Italian Christmas sounds so comfy!

In Canada we do the advent calendar. Same with the little chocolates and doors. The way I grew up it was always the 25th we celebrated Christmas. We would go to one of my grandparents house (we switched back and forth each year and all the family was always there). And on the 24th we always had a small gathering with my grandparents, small dinner at our house. And then sing Christmas carols and have Christmas cookies. Sometimes we got to open one gift before bed! I think a lot of people have slightly different versions. But we don’t have any really neat traditions I can recall. Not like yours! If there is my family did not do them 😂

It is definitely not the New Orleans tradition! But it is nice. I thought that was super neat to read from the other comment!
