Observatory "Residencia of Paranal" Hotel was used as a filming location for the 2008 James Bond movie Quantum of Solace (It gets a big hold blown in it's side.)
The last house in Chile took my breath away. I could happily stay home with that view and my books.
I have to admit that these 3 buildings in Chile are awesome. the vineyard is amazing, however the house on the cliff with a view of the sea is outstanding!

Let’s do a program showing the downfall of architecture. I’m sorry, I just don’t understand the people who live in brutalist structures and somehow think they feel like home when they look like institutional structures where people are housed for the purpose of not hurting themselves. There’s just nothing warm or inviting about these structures. Aside from the science station, the others just insult the landscape ... and I’m pretty sure that was the point of the design.
sorry but, are you out of your mind? this is the arquitecture that love the landscape and becomes part of it, old arquitecture is beautiful to loock at but living in it, sucks , big time
