Rooster Zero - the ultimate zero stretch traveller for a Laser

  • Steve Cockerill shows you how to make an extra class legal modification to a Laser traveller which might make it even smoother. Also note that 'Zero' has so little stretch that it is best to cleat the traveller before fitting the tiller. You can also just use a bowline if you prefer. 'Zero' is available from all good Rooster stockists.

    We're using this on our RS800 main halyard, really low stretch. Actually holds it's shape in the cleat pretty well too

    Would a bowline slip or would it do the just as well?

      A bowline would work just as well - the only reason to use the eye is to reduce the thickness of the knot that might hit your tiller if it is very low.
