    I would kill for some more in-depth parametric CAD features in the footprint and board editors. It'd make placement and drawing a lot better if I could specify constraints instead of working in terms of measurements. I'm not so sure what the UI for this would be in an EDA tool, but I still want it.

    Coming from the CAD world of Solidworks I find this topic of placing and measuring componets frustrating. Why I can´t just say ok component you should be 20 mm from the edge, or you shoud be parallel with that IC ? .... I really hope they will improve on this in the future.

    I could not repeat your steps. KiCad 5.1.5-3 does not have Move item with Move Relative to section.
