I saw you had the turnigy evolution radio there. Do you use IBUS w that radio? I also have an evolution and wanted to get the flysky version of the phantom from Banggood. I’m just worried about connecting the receiver.
Hi! Yes the turnigy evolution supports IBUS if your receiver supports it. If you get the flysky version it will ship with a A8S v2, those are great and support IBUS. If you want to go all the way you could however get the version without receiver and buy a separate fli14+ like I did as it supposedly has more range (although I’m not so sure...) and RSSI. Hope that helps!
Hi I have the geprc phantom with flysky receiver I'm trying to put a R-XSR receiver in I have soldered it the way you show in the picture but I can't get it to bind I have the QX7 can you help ?
Thats a FR-sky module right? Then it should work without resoldering anything. It should bind no matter if it has a connection with the FC so that is step one. Hope that helps, if you still need help you can ask follow up questions here :-) Happy flying!
i tried to install a TBS crossfire nano rx . but when i power it up and have it connected to my pc and beta flight, there doesnt seem to get any input through altough i have binded succesfully the rx to my tango 2 any ideas? as far as i know i need the TX and the RX
The TBS crossfire does not use SBUS. You will need to use the TX2 and RX2 pads. Have you connected it to them and selected uart 2 for rx input in betaflight? If it still don't work try swapping the RX and TX cables they are easy to get wrong.
@@dronexsweden6906 ok ive tried to switch to uar2. is the tbs crossfire a serial reciever, as in do i need to switch that button on too in betaflight, right next to uart2?
Binding is separate from the connection to the fc so it will bind even if it's not connected to the fc. What transmitter are you using? You will need to put the transmitter into bind mode and then while powering on the receiver you will need to hold down the bind button. It will den say bind ok on your transmitter if it works. You can see if they are bound by looking on the rx battery status if it's showing a battery level they are bound. Hope that helps!
Anach I have Instagram however and don’t post too much there! But a few stories here and there. Just look for @dronex_sweden and then I have my personal drone insta @3djakob Happy flying!
