You'll learn about Japanese phonetics, such as pronunciation, rhythm, pitch accent, intonation and so on. Those knowledge will help you sound natural when speaking Japanese.
Hi, Welcome to Speak Japanese Naturally. I'm Fumi.
Can you introduce yourself in Japanese?
With this 5-minute lesson, you'll be able to introduce yourself with 3 sentences with proper pitch accent!
    0:13 three sentences
    0:22 はじめまして
    0:29 Hajimemashite pitch
    1:00 わたしは〜です。
    1:46 Name pitch
    2:56 よろしくおねがいします。
    3:25 Yoroshikuonegaishimasu pitch
Japanese is a pitch accent language, so it's important to imitate the pitch to sound natural.
Practice pitch and sound natural with me!

Thank you for a delightful lesson. Duolingo teaches me Japanese, but its "cartoon" characters speak with non-Japanese accents. So, I'm happy to hear a real Japanese one from such a pleasant teacher,.

Your teaching style is very casual, unlike a classroom-type setting. I think your approach makes it more comfortable for new learners. It feels more like a discussion than a lesson.
While I am more interested in reading Japanese than speaking it, I'm happy to subscribe to your channel.

      Thank you!
