This is my playthrough/quick mod showcase of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Random Xenoverse 2 Redesign Pack, as always I will demonstrate Story Mode cutscenes.
I recorded all the scenes and then edited the raw footage in a synthetic and original sequence to show Random Xenoverse 2 Redesign Pack. Those Ginyu Force redesigns looked 🔥🔥🔥
The costume change at the start made me think... what if xenoverse took place in it's own timeline? One where you don't go to specific moments in time but instead you run around xenoverse's own timeline to stop villians from destroying the heroes; who accidently recreate some key moments?
Imagine the potential! Nappa going super saiyan, Raditz having learnt some skills from neighbouring planets before ariving on earth; cell absorbing android 13 instead.
That's my personal head canon when using this revamp. Makes the game feel more expansive and fun. I always hated how Xenoverse never took any risks in the second game and just gave us the same old storyline but every once in awhile a villain is a bit stronger than normal. Although to be fair, Infinite History takes a step in the right direction. I hope they keep moving towards more wild what-if scenarios and and alternate timeline stuff. Xenoverse has the luxury of time travel so they can do whatever they want really without giving a shit about the canon.

when the Namekian Frog even gets a redesign and Goku just stays the same with red gi
No, goku has a red and black design with black outlines. Not a lot changed, but with it it looks like an actual martial artist gi.
Blackwind Gogeta just because it has red outlines doesn’t directly mean it’s that much related to Xeno Goku. It looks more like a Martial Artists Gi that many types of karate use. I know Shotokan Karate (or at least some dojo’s) uses these trademark designs for there Gi’s. No need to be mad
That was a perfect mod I've ever seen. I liked the new Saiyan armors, Frieza clan forms(when Frieza transformed into a new form and golden together if you all saw it), Nappa having a beard (if he had hair would be good but he is always bold, no offence guys), etc. I bet in future mods they can show better.

The only worthwhile change was giving Tokitoki a hat. That is all. Nothing else stacks up.

Krillin's Hair looks weird
Goku Black's Potara now looks like a small Chaos Emerald .... those are the 2 only things that are pretty much unndeeded, the Potara could've stayed as it did normally and Krillin should've stayed bald or used his Buu arc hair

Some good some bad raditz redesign was awful tho could have been way better like give him a armor style reminiscent of his father or atleast don't damn pants also why do the scouters need to look like glasses it's not really looking well etc for turles his is fine but other that those most are pretty good

My (unasked) personal opinion on each costume:
•Raditz looks more like a stripper than normal, also not a big fan of the double scouters
•goku looks nice, not much of a change but not bad
•piccolo looks fantastic. Better than the original. I’d just give up his weighted clothes
•this is how nappa should have always looked
•vegeta looking clean
•like krillins clothes but not big on the hair
•the ginyu force is dripped out💯 still don’t like the scouters tho
•turles is mad clean, if only he had the regular scouter. He’d be the best designed saiyan I’ve ever seen.
•both designs of trunks are fabulous, would expect nothing else.
•even the frog is changed😭 pretty eh, it’s like a shiny tho
•saiyan armour krillin and gohan is honestly a fit (still don’t like the hair)
•kinda iffy on frieza, part of me thinks the original is just too sleak to be beat, the other half of me thinks the collar on final frieza goes hard
•ssj goku with the black shirt, chef kiss.
•coolers body is a nice improvement but the horns don’t do it for me
•regular clothes on vegeta isn’t a bad look by no means. Maybe the long pants and no head band, but it’s a pretty clean look
•whis armour goku and vegeta looking clean as I’d expect
•golden frieza looks… alright? I see the direction but I don’t get a good enough angle
•meta cooler droids already isn’t my favorite design, so unfortunately that caries over to this one
•hit is just touched up which is nice
•we get piccolo with this weighted clothes and it’s as beautiful as I hoped
•goku black looks like an evil kai as one would expect
•GB’s rosé look goes hard and those earrings are pure drip
•I like fused Zamasu’ spire glove hands, better than the big arm
•it’s impossible for vegetto to not be dripped
•time kai is a vibe and a half
Overall, these designs go hard af. A few extra details that I feel are a bit too much but overall, these are too clean.
