Game mechanics allow you to stand on top of herbs and tents without falling, funny. Mount can climb cliffs and jump down them too. Fun episode Miss Kiki.
About that miner lady-she will respawn near the camp at the waterfall! I think it’s a bug, you have to leave forbidden oasis, go somewhere else and then return before she appears :)
here's a tip: on your mount, you don't take fall damage. the only time i ever use my mount is to leap off of cliffs to get to where i'm going quicker 🙃
another quick way to avoid fall damage: select a mage and have him cast Barrier on the party, then _immediately_ jump down, the barrier will absorb the damage for everyone 😉
Kiki you are so funny, you're like "I want to climb with her daggers!!!" which, honestly valid point, but then also like a couple minutes later just like "I'm kind of scared when she's climbing the ladders." I def relate to both. Also, omg your elven pronounciation is like perfect??
@@Nisselak oh okay! Will the companions still talk during horse rides (because they dissappear) or won’t it only restart the timer? Only thinking because the banter usually happens when walking from A to B.
@@travelingatthespeedoflife No, riding the mount disables party banter and mods to alter the timer/fix banter bugs do not change this. Your companions all disappear when you get on your mount, and it will always reset the timer from when you dismount. If you want to hear banter you need to travel on foot. ☺
1:02:39 Dang Kiki, you nailed the phonetic pronunciation of elvhen speech! I'm impressed how well you read it. I see Elhara and Dhenyla teamed up to tutor you!
1:23:54 the gang only uses potion from the shared health potions automatically. Default is 2 potions per party member. On another note: a images barrier not only helps in combat, but is also useful when, say, falling down somewhere

Lovely! Another fun episode Kiki! Dont bother about the widow in the oasis she'll spawn in the next time you fast travel back to the oasis. Also, I noticed you have a lot of unfilled requistions at your camp table
I love the way you pep talk the companions and call them 'my love' and 'my dear' 😆 gives me 'she's just like me fr' LOL. Makes me laugh. And god, this freakin map. It's definitely MUCH easier to deal with on subsequent playthrough's when you have a general idea of the whole layout and can essentially take a route of least resistance through it and minimise backtracking for the shards but just...the actual AGGRAVATION this map caused me the first time left a permanent imprint on me. There were three maps I just hated on my first play through - this one, The Storm Coast and one other - and this place + the coast remain the least enjoyable maps for me lol (the other actually became one of my absolute favourite parts of the game, go figure). The concept of it is great and I love the actual oasis at the centre but god, this map would have been so much better if it'd been more linear like The Fallow Mire, and allowed you to fast travel directly to the temple. And you made a good guess about the translation of 'solas', you were pretty close. If it helps - Solasan = Temple of Pride. 😊
I always save the oasis until last and just do the entire temple in one go rather than keep travelling back there because I find it so frustrating to navigate.
@@LoriasGS I think I've done that once but I actually didn't enjoy leaving it till the end, it felt like much more of a chore to me than spacing it out more naturally over the campaign 😂 I prefer to just make 3 trips, 1 for each 'layer' of the temple haha.
Now you know the purpose of hunting down all those shards. Good crafting loot and resistances to annoying damage types. Worth the effort and hassle IMO.
Before starting the main quest on the wartable make sure you head to redcliff first, otherwise you might miss out on some interesting things.
Ahhhh you found it - this is what the shards are for lol

For me she spawned stuck between two rocks. I only found her because she eventually showed up on my map.

I’m glad you’re not only riding horses. I’m pretty sure riding prevents party banter from triggering
She installed the mod that increases the party banters, there won't be that downside

All told, 72 shards over many areas, a lot of collections in this game, worth the effort.

You know when a creator says something hilariously ironic, but you can’t point it out because of spoilers.
For what its worth, I'm usually pretty heckin' good at navigating in games. The Forbidden Oasis was a nightmare for me, too. 🤣
@@sanctimoniouslocke3941 this does help 🤣 we all know me and maps but the forbidden oasis so far is the worst map
out of 33 Inquisitors....maybe 2 collected all the shards LOL.

You should hit up the main quests because it's easy to get lost in the open world.
You are picking up tier 2 ore, it makes tier 2 weapons and armor.
you can use the charging bull(warrior) ability to travel faster
or fade step for mage
